There's a reason you don't idle in the open on PvP servers. It's because people will kill you. And if you happen to be in a amusing spot, say, floating in the air over Area 52 when you meet your untimely end? People, like reader Goroth of Onyxia, will immortalize your corpse in screenshots.

I can't count the number of night elf corpses i've stacked up at the mailbox in Area 52. There are a few places in that "town" that you can stand and kill people with ranged attacks and not get the attention of the guards.
Also, if you see someone idling in the air, fly (if you can) up near them and have them targetted. Dismount and cast/shoot any instants you have as you fall back to the ground. Try to do this over a house/building or have slowfall ready. Rinse and repeat until the AFK flyer is dead. Warlocks and Shadow Priests seem to be the best at this with their DoTs and such.
