Yup. Apparently Blizzard makes RTS games now, because they just announced Starcraft 2 in Korea.
Prepare to be zerged, protossed, and maybe even terraned, plus who knows what else they'll come up with. More to come. Lots more.

starcraft mmo lmao that would be a sad day it wont happen there announcements are alrdy over it be neat playing starcraft in a mmo form but id rather have it as a rts

Or they're doing like what they did with Warcraft 3, milk the RTS for all its worth and use Starcraft 2 to setup a premise for a future MMO.

Well I guess no company is perfect and this proves it what a waste of time Starcraft is by far the worst RTS ever made and now they are going to dump resourcecs that could be used in making W.O.W. even better like say getting rid of gold farmers or any of the other multiple things that need done. But no blizzard dropped the ball. Starcraft FTL

This could give Blizz a nice chance to set up some more powerful personalities through SC2 and it's expansion pack that will eventually come out. If they are going to do a SC MMO they will need more personalities and deeper lore, SC2 is a great chance to start building a deep history.
A 3-Front war can be a lot of fun in an MMO -- I enjoyed Dark Ages of Camelot's battlegrounds system with 3 factions all trying to take a tower... and then once someone takes it... it's a whole new ballgame.
