Breakfast Topic: Breakfast!

Might any of you make yourself sandwiches and chat with guildmates on occasions when you might otherwise eat alone? Or even grab a snack if you feel hungry while raiding?
Now... before you remind me what happened to the South Park kids, remember I'm not implying that any of you would actually take this to the extreme (nor demand hotpockets of your mothers!). I am merely asking innocent, 100% fat-free questions, and pushing the boundary of the ultimate "Breakfast" topic! Can you eat strawberries and PvP at the same time? How often do you grind with grub? What's your favorite mid-Mechanar munchie?

Well, I do get myself a bag of chips or a quick sandwhich in the afternoon sometimes, but it's not like I'm eating my dinner while playing WoW.

That's insulting, that's uncalled for!
... I make my *own* hot pockets! :P

Seeing as we have some players that don't like staying up past midnight server time on a weekday (read East-Coasters) - I'm usually on right after work...get home, start up the computer, make dinner and sit down to get an instance run going. It's a little tricky eating while playing - especially with a headset for vent, but I manage. Other times I'll just have some goldfish or something similar as a snack in front of me.

Our lead healer had a rare screwup, and died as a result. Turns out he had made a sandwich, and dropped it on his keyboard. Now when someone screws up, we say they 'dropped the sandwich'.

Bowl of cereal ftw!

I don't eat while playing for two reasons. First, I find that I eat more when I'm distracted by something like a game or TV. And second, I'm really messy and clumsy. After each snack, I'd have to whip out the compressed air and blow the crumbs out of my keyboard.

#4 That's a classic.
I typically play after putting the kids to bed, so 9pm PT is when I would login on weekdays. Herbal tea and water are the only things I undulge on. Though I remember these endless BRD runs where you felt having a snack at 3am before reaching the Emperor.

I remember once in BWL that it was our 2nd or 3rd try on Vael. I was eating my microwave curry at the time, yum yum yum...
But no... with my back against the wall but still in casting range. I dropped my naan bread on my keyboard and it hit my shadowburn key. Insta wiped the raid.
Similar to #4 but its pretty funny to know that the guild wiped due to a food related accident. Hah.

Nothing like being in the middle of a fight and pizza delivery person rings the doorbell.

Our guild raided Hammerfall and Tarren Mill... so us lvl40s could join in... My wife and I had a supply of pretzels and during the trip to Tarren Mill I heated up the Scones... Nothing says fun like slaughtering level 45 Death Guards... with a big pot of Irish Breakfast and a plate of scones, strawberry jam and fresh whipped cream from the dairy next door. Sometime county living is AWESOME!

Most of my WoW time is from around 5 to 11 PM. I'll take a break for dinner, but if I get the late night munchies I like to grab a banana or a bowl of grapes or something of the like to eat while I play.
Playing too much WoW is bad enough for me, I like to at least eat something healthy while I play. :P

I have cooked omelets, turkeys, made soup, fried bacon and eggs and eaten ice cream sandwiches all while playing WoW. usually during flight or transit times, then-- because I live alone and my computer is on the dinning room table-- I just move the keyboard back and I can eat soup or an omelet without trouble, while fighting.
It gets intense, I can put down the spoon or fork, then go back to eating when I'm done.

I use WoW to not eat. You see if I was at home and watching TV or reading, I would snack all night (no good for your health). Since starting to play WoW I dont snack at night at all, too busy doing stuff I suppose.

COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE
No food while playing, I like a clean keyboard/mouse.
And no alcohol because corpse running/ getting lost while corpse running, while at first amusing, loses appeal after the 9th circle.

@20 "no alcohol" LOL. Alcohol is definitely one of my choice RL buffs to help with just about everything. I play on a PVP server and that pretty much madates that you be drinking. I also enjoy playing the Gold-Spam-Drinking-Game from a previous wowinisder article.
As far as eating, I generally put together some food during long flights or while waiting for the party to reform after wipes in raids etc.
Its important to have a very flexible mic so I can push it out of the way while i'm shovelling food down my throat and chugging Brawndo (the thirst mutilator).
:-)
