Patch 2.1 is here

As announced yesterday, patch 2.1 has gone live this morning. It brings many, many changes; here are some highlights:- Almost every level 70 epic buffed
- Big Alchemy changes
- Black Temple and Mount Hyjal raids
- Druid epic flight form
- New zones: Ogri'la, Skettis, Etherium Prison
- Netherdrakes
- Talent changes for Paladins, Shamans, and Rogues
- Battleground matching system
- Ruins of Lordaeron arena
Most realms were supposed to come back up at 11:00 AM PDT; there was a bit of a delay, although most realms appear to be up now. However, some realms needed extended maintenance, and are expected to come up at 2:00 PM PDT. Those realms are listed after the cut.

Great patch, just logged in to cenarion circle and there are NO NPCs in Outland, period. No mobs, no vendors, nada. How does this stuff get out?

And still primal nethers for goggles. Means a month or two of rep farming to get into heroics in order to get one. *annoyed*

The MMO-Champion link there is incorrect - takes you to Champion Mortgage company. Might wanna fix that. ;-)

My Spellstrike Hood requires a Primal Nether too. And a BoP pattern. Should I cry about it?

I thought I remember reading something about zeps and boats sounding a bell when they pull up to the docks. Is that not in this patch, or did I just miss it in the notes? Sounds trivial, but while waiting I usually alt-tab out to do something else. The way it is now, I have to alt-tab back in every couple minutes to make sure i don't miss my ride.

I'm looking forward to the bg matching system, I think it will be more fun when you don't have to up against some 70's ultra-twinked lvl 29.

@6 on the other hand quite sure that your entire 3 piece epic tailoring set which is on par with T5 and usually acquired before one attempts to obtain Spellstrike, requires not a single primal nether.

Cry more about nethers for the engineering helms.
If you cant get a primal nether, you dont deserve an epic of this quality. Since when were T5 quality PvE epics obtainable without a single dungeon or heroic run?
If you cant organise a heroic then you fail at one of the most basic aspects of the game. Socially not having the skills to get 5 people together and not having the PvE skills to do a very VERY easy dungeon.
P.S. I'm an engineering.
P.S. I got a primal nether the same day they added it to the materials on the PTR.
P.S. I'm not in a raiding guild, i pugged it.

Anyone notice that you can turn off the launcher now? I didn't see it in the patch notes but there is now a check box (unchecked by default) under the remember account name checkbox on the lower left hand side of the login page.

@12 - guess you are a noob then who never heard of the T5 equiv tailoring sets or the first tier blacksmiting weapons which don't require any grouping, instances or heroics at all.
I'll leave you to your hotpockets, leetness and purple pixels.
