Breakfast Topic: Where will you take your orphan?

Children's Week has officially begun, and the world is overrun by small fry of all varieties. The quests ask you to play tour guide with your little charge, showing them the magnificent sights of around Azeroth and Outland. They ask to see the races at Shimmering Flats, and to bask in the glow of the naaru in Exodar. But where else will you take your orphan?
Last year I recall running UBRS with an orphan, remember hearing of orphans summoned to defeat Ragnaros. I wonder, what plans do you have to extend your orphan's education of the lands? What is the most unusual place you have seen an orphan since they began Children's Week two years ago?

The only reason to get an orphan is for the comedy of pulling him out during a raid boss fight.

hmmmm I wonder if the orphan will follow me if i jump off one of those floating islands......i'll shift to birdie form, but I think he'll be in for a painful drop.....

I'll take her where ever I go while I have her. They did a good job with the children in the game - I love the arm swinging and the skipping idle anims. But DANG Egbert is the cutest little thing evah! He runs around so fast it's hard to target him. I'm torn between keeping the orphan for the whole week or getting Egbert tonight!

I did the Childrens week a year ago, and I must say the little bugger was a pain.."get me Ice Cream!" as I run all over getting things for him and introducing him to everyone. I did the quest but turned in little Bernie quickly, having 6 kids of my own, I really need someone else to take my kids for a Week!! Any volunteers?

So with the new patch, my demons disappear when I mount up; but the orphans are made to run along side me wherever I go. Poor little guys.

Them kids are fast! They easily keep up on my Epic Ground Mount+Crusader Aura. Life without parents must make you an exercise machine. I wouldn't be surprised to see my kid running below me superfast as I fly around Azeroth.

Did them both quest in like 2 hours. Looked like some people had issues with at dark portal.
Had a hard time deciding between Egbert and the Elephant.
Ended up choosing Egbert

I got my One-Eyed Willy. The quest line for Shatt was more interesting, there seemed to be a cool little backstory, maybe it'll get fleshed out!

Orphans in our guild have now been threw 4 bosses in Kara, High King, and Gruul since server upgrade. I have to say I wanted them to take the shatter but being gruul is bugged now to shatter 3rd person insted of 2nd that makes for even more fun, lots of people are taking it. The quests are too time consuming but they are fun to carry around in raids.

Argh, i'd rather keep the orphan than get some minipet, but the damn whistle expires in a week, so we have to turn it in or lose it. :(

Last night, I took mine (the orc kid) into Auchindoun.
"C'mon kid, let's go slaughter some unknowable horrors deep in the bowels of a decimated crypt!"
Most of the time though, my party just watched Egbert run around. He'll follow you when you're moving, but as soon as you stop, he'll take off and dart around the room like you wouldn't believe. Hilarious. It's like the exact opposite of my panda.
