Do you ever dream of WoW?

Imagine the scene: the boss has been defeated, and after five grueling hours you're finally able to step out of the instance victorious. You log out to catch some shut eye, and your mind fills with images of the mobs you've just defeated. You're now dreaming of WoW.
A forum post about this subject really got me thinking. In fact, evidently even Eyonix dreams of WoW, which I guess isn't all that surprising really. I often dream that I am in game when I am happily zonked out. For me, I think it is a case of sensory input; I dream a lot of times about what I see and hear. A while back I prepared the night before a business meeting by printing out my reports and leaving them by the door so that I wouldn't forget them. I didn't, but in my dreams that night I did. The same is true of World of Warcraft. I spent so much time immersed in the game that it sometimes slips into my dreams as well.
Do you dream of WoW? What sorts of in game elements slip into your slumber?

I dream about it all the time. One time I had this insane dream about WSG, but instead of everyone's toon's battling it out, it was actually the actual players on the battleground. All the Night Elves were played by sorority girls.
The last WoW-dream I had involved being on a flying mount and then scooped up by a dragon, which then dropped me to the ground.

Yes, and that was when I stopped being a hardcore WoWer.

I dreamt of WoW many times. I can only vividly remember this one that I had around the time AQ opened up. I had taken close to a six month break and dreamt that I rejoined when my guild was in the middle of a raid and that they immediately requested my presence. I made it to this dream version of AQ where all of the mobs were those giant Anubis types, when my GM /trades some godly epic gear to me. 'what now?' 'tank'. And off we went, until I woke up.

After long game sessions I tend to have trouble sleeping restfully. My mind won't stop grinding or questing and it's never enjoyable. Frustrating is the overall sentiment because WoW takes so much time to accomplish things. It's as if my mind is trying to hurry through the content so it can finally call it quits for the night, but for some reason, it always takes longer than I want it to. I've found that I need 30-60 minutes of cool down before hitting the hay so that my mind has time to drop the keyboard and mouse and start relaxing.

So, last night I was reading random tidbits of lore about Kael'thas Sunstrider before bedtime. I never knew he had a bit of a crush on Jaina Proudmoore.
I dreamed that I was the teenage Jaina and Mr. Sunstrider himself was hitting on me. Let's just say that *ahem* it was a lovely Alliance/Horde, er, dalliance?
Oh, and have I mentioned that I find male blood elves ridiculously attractive?

Of course I dream about it, I day dream and sleep dream about WoW, I want to get playing very badly! Being as it is and I can not play and my wife has agreed to play a little more extensively. I dream of making the toon, leveling him up and helping my wife with her mage...it is the closest thing I have to WoW right now! It is FUN to dream about! And here all this time I thought it was just my wacked out head that was dreaming of WoW, good to know other people do as well!

I don't think I've ever dreamed about WoW, but I don't really ever remember my dreams. I do close my eyes sometimes and see chat scrolling by. That's when I know I've been playing too long. :-p

I dream of killing mobs endlessly. I dream of falling of cliffs. I dream of riding on a hippogryph. I dream that I'm losing the fight. Divine protection has been on three seconds to cooldown for the last minute. I use lay on hands. It heals me back up to 2% health, but costs me all my mana. I think to myself, "Just kill me already, put me out of my suffering..." but me and the mob continue on in a deadly dance of death, neither gaining the advantage over the other, until I awaken.

@8: In ancient Egypt, not remembering your dreams or not understanding them was a sign the Gods were angry with you. I'd sacrifice corn to Elune to fix that.
Anyway, no I don't dream wow. I sometimes dream of PLAYING wow, but not in the game - I remeber sitting at my desk, but nothing about the game except that it's wow I'm playing.

I see healing bars in my dreams ... In my dreams I'm watching the bars drop and madly clicking away trying to save people, with the whirling sound of multiple rejuvenation spells ringing in my ears.

... I was chased around a summer camp by the werewolves from SFK. It was terrifying. My husband was NOT amused when I woke him up by clutching him and whimpering in my sleep. (I've never been to a summer camp. Those horror movies have a LOT to answer for!)

For the amount of WoW I play I don't dream about it very much. But one day a very long while ago, when my main would have been in the 20s/30s, I had a dream about a place I'd never been to before. Within a few weeks of that dream, I decided to try my first battleground. When I zoned into WSG, and ran outside I realised that the place I'd dreamt about looked remarkably similar, though it was more cartoonish in the game.
The human brain is an interesting thing.

I have never actually experienced a dream. I close my eyes to the darkness of night, and wake up to either the alarm or sunshine - depending on the day of the week. I imagine that I must actually dream throughout the night, as scientists say that "everyone dreams every time they sleep - you just might not remember them", and I imagine that I must dream about a whole host of things related to WoW and/or other of the daily things I encounter, but not once in the last 25 years of my life have I been consciously aware of them, or their memory. Pretty strange now that I give it some thought...

I don't remember dreaming about WoW. But I do remember dreaming about EVE online.
The game is good, but the dream was boring.

@11 - I've got almost the same thing, after a tough night healing in karazhan, before I fall asleep my brain goes into a loop where I'm trying to keep someone up and they just keep dropping, very annoying :/

I've had a few WoW dreams, usually after raid nights. Strangely I'm always a mage in said dreams, and I've never rolled a mage. My main is a hunter and my alt is a priest.

Lol! I dream about WoW all the time, even if it's simple things like what mobs I'm going to grind tommorrow xD

I'm a substitute teacher by day and a Blood Elf priest by night.
One night, I dreamed that I had gotten up to get ready for school by equipping the appropriate gear. I don't remember what the stats were on anything, but they were all epics, so I probably had a pretty good day.
I decided that maybe I needed a little break from WoW after that happened.
I decided after that
