It's been over a week since we last got together to play together in the It came from the Blog guild on Zangarmarsh realm -- which means it's high time to get together for another night of fun! If you'd like to join us, log on to Zangarmarsh realm tonight starting at 7:00 PM EST. (If you haven't gotten a guild invite yet, message any of us in-game. We're happy to invite you -- all you have to do is ask!) We'll be grouping up and making the long run from horde-lands to Elwynn Forest to check out the Darkmoon Faire. Yes, some of us may die along the way -- but that's just a sacrifice we have to be willing to make to get our fortunes told!
This week, you'll be hanging out with Mike Schramm (Mikril), Robin Torres (Robiness), Amanda Rivera (Moomandie), Krystalle Voecks (Krystalle), Daniel Howell (Sebboh), Matthew Porter (Matthius), Barb Dybwad (Brab), Christopher Grant of Joystiq, Dave Caolo (Ecarg) of TUAW, and Ryan Carter (Toastie) of Download Squad. And if you happen to stay around late (around midnight EST), you can also expect to run into Elizabeth Harper (Lizzie) and David Bowers (Davh).

I doubt I can make the Faire trip, but I am very happy with my 19 Tauren Warrior in the Guild and plan on focusing on him as my main.
You seem to have collected quite a few nice people in the Guild and we are having fun in between your arranged events.
It has become one of the more pleasant Guild experiences that I've had in two years of playing WoW.
You'll see me on as Pingles.

That sounds like a lot of fun... usually it's just my fiance and myself running around and "/ignore"ing anyone who challenges us to a duel without asking.
Might be fun to actually interact with other people. ;)

soooo, where will the journey begin?--will there be a meeting spot, like in orgrimmar? or ratchet?
if not how would a lowly lvl 8 orc-lock (moonaramoo) get to elwynn forest without dying every second step?

So, I experienced this 2 weeks ago while waiting for my server to go live with Patch 2.1. A bunch of folks were rolling lowbies on other servers. Being an ally on my other toons, I rolled Orc and found many others in the Valley of Trials killing time.
We formed a raid and took the zeppelin to the Horde town in STV. We found the best strategy was to die and rez. Being lowbies, there is no rez sickness. So, run out, find a tiger, die and rez. Run past the one or two cats between you and Duskwood. Once in Duskwood, die and rez. Then swim up between Westfall and Duskwood and you get to Hogger country! Goldshire is a short jaunt from there.
We ended up all dying many times and rezzing at the lumber company in Elwynn. A couple of Goldshire raids took place. Much fun was had.
I may be subbing for a Karazhan run tonight on Malygos-A, so I'm going to miss this event. But have fun!

By my recollection, I only kicked out one guildmember... and then I invited them right back in :)
Also, I'm going to be taking at least one guild group into WSG 10-19 tonight, so if you're into that, come join us. Should be fun.
And I think we are going to meet in Orgrimmar at about 7:15 or so, and then go to Elwynn as a raid (or two, if we have enough people). That should also be fun, and probably very interesting. Take screenshots!

Hey everyone, Hudson here! For those of you that missed, here's a recap.
After a brief period of killing Defias, summoning people at the VC meeting stone, swimming from grom'gol, (beware Murlocs!) and a couple Zeppelins, everyone arrived in Elwynn. Hogger was downed without a fuss, in literally a few seconds. Then it was on to the Darkmoon Faire where some naughty Alliance tried to spoil our fun by mass ganking us. We decided to "haunt Stormwind" and assemble in the Cathedral for a quick screenshot. When we returned to our bodies, some drank, some had Sayge predict their future for a handy buff, some shot themselves out of the cannon, but all had fun.

My guild did this on my server last night too - shamelessly stole your idea. *grins*
Did you find the Stormwind City Guards to be extra aggro-ey? One of my lowbies got murderated anytime he got near that end of the fair.
>.< and I gave him money to buy a frog and told him to go catch little Filk... I didn't know Filk ran straight into Goldshire.
Mulgore's fair is much more Alliance friendly.

I will be creating a char tonight... Prolly as the same name I have always used.. Strongmark! Perhaps it is the first BE char for me??
