Breakfast topic: Neatest land mount

Land mounts may seem painfully antiquated, now that we're all soaring around on our gryphons or wyverns or netherdrakes. But there's still a ton of them around, and you need something to look cool on while standing AFK in Ironforge. Dudeydude (sigh) of Llane asks the forums: what's the coolest land mount? (A full list can be found here.)
Of all the normal racial mounts, my favorites are the troll raptors and the gnome mechanostriders. Raptors just because they look cool and come in bright colors, and mechanostriders because they're ... mechanical! They fit so well with gnomes, and the black one looks really neat.
For the rare drop mounts, my old favorite is the Zul'Gurub tiger. A tank I know has one of these, and I was always impressed with the big orc in full Tier 2 (back when that was cool) sitting on the tiger. Midnight, who drops from Attumen in Karazhan, is also neat-looking, but the sheer number of horse-type mounts in WoW means I still like the tiger better.
What do you think is the coolest land mount? What about the worst? In an ideal world, what mount would you ride?

I love my tan talbuk mount, the look of it just clearly states "Outland". I always wanted a horse for my nelf and now i have one that stands taller than any human on their horse :P....A nice reward for all the work to become exalted with the kurenai ^-^

I love the Talbuk, specifically the silver one, its a nice change from most of the mounts and it's one of the few mounts that my Tauren will look good on.

By far the best is the Raven Lord which drops on Heroic of Sethkk Halls from the guy you have to kill for the druid epic flight form: Anzu.

I'm very happy with my purple AV Arctic Wolf I picked up my at 60. Three levels shy of 70 and I'm saving up for my flying mount now.
I plan on getting a Black PVP War Raptor at some point but I really want a Hawkstrider.
When are they going to offer a PVP Hawkstrider?

Ive always loved the rare mounts because theyre just that. Rare. The AQ40 Legendary Bug mount is just awesome. The ZG Tiger and the ZG Raptor are again cool but rare. For regular attainable mounts that I think a lot of players can hope for the PVP Mounts are nice. Theyre either black or some cool color and have nice armor to them.

i hate my kodo.
i tried to get my org rep up so i could get a wolf. but its a bit of a drag. i'll just wait till 60 i guess and get the AV wolf

The Zul'Gurub tiger is very cool, but my two favorites are the warlock's Dread Steed, and the Blood Elf Paladin's Charger. Of the racials I'd have to go with the Black War Wolf.

Got a BE Warlock and I love the Felstead but I'm working on Undercity rep to get a Skeletal Warhorse. Would also like the Deathcharger from the Baron.

I fully support the Baron's Mount, as it is the ORIGINAL cool mount.

A plain non-epic Kodo or Elekk. Why? Because no one would agree with me, and that makes it all the sweeter to me. (I'm sure some folks do in fact agree with me, but it's still not a common choice.)
The epic Kodo is nice but he has a rhino horn instead of the brontothere-like horn of the original kodo, and I like the expressiveness of my regular elekk's face instead of all that armor they stick on the epic.
Now, what I would really like would be a wooly kodo or elekk.

I'm probably the only one, but my favorite will always be the unarmored rams. Ram ram ram!
Unarmored white talbuk is nifty (current ground ride, love the leg stripes) and it's very fast too unlike most unarmored ones. Unarmored wolves and armored kodos always appealed to me.
Least favorite are the dreadsteeds and cats. Don't like the model work on the cats--and everyone has one of the dumb things.
Did I mention rams?

This was given to the first person to ring the gong to open AQ and any who rang the gong within the next 10 hours.
It's legendary because it's the only bug mount you can use outside of AQ. The other colored bug mounts only worked inside of AQ40 and it was important to have one since mounts didn't work on AQ40 and that place was HUGE. Having a mount cut down on the travel time between wipes. :-)
