"Stranglethorn Hole" and the doom of casual WoW?

As a new player on a PVP server, I'm finding Stranglethorn Vale a total pain in the backside. Just once, I'd like to get some quests done without being one-shotted by ?? Level players every five minutes.

In fact, being one-shotted anywhere by players 10+ levels higher is aggravating since I don't have any way of countering this. Why doesn't Blizzard introduce some sort of level range system for free-for-all PVP?
