WoW Moviewatch: Azuregos vs. Orgrimmar
Ah, the innocent days when outdoor bosses weren't leashed -- and could be kited anywhere on the continent. I'm sure you've seen Kazzak stomp Stormwind (this is the pre-BC Kazzak we're talking about), so now you can take a look at Azuregos against Orgrimmar. So how does Orgrimmar succeed where Stormwind failed? Well, Kazzak heals whenever he kills someone -- a great advantage for an unexpected boss encounter in a major city (full of delicious newbies).

"So how does Orgrimmar succeed where Stormwind failed?"
Orgrimmar is a Horde capital, so of course we would win ;)

Simple, Kazzak was unkillable 3 minutes after engaged.

So the boss just out of the blue attacked Org?

If the person who tagged him survived the pull, nice way to get others to kill a boss for you so you get all the loot.

I hate the fact they nerfed this. It was awesome to see a huge boss walking through the gates, wreaking havoc on all the lowbies (myself included). Made an otherwise boring capital city exciting for a while. What was Blizzards reasoning behind the change?

they changed it because it was fun, as some would say

This rocks... But they probably changed it because of the server lag that 10,000 people logging on and being inside a single city caused.
I hope they'll un-change it sometime. I love having boss monsters unexpectedly visit major cities, it gives me something to watch for a while.

Man, I really miss the old days. Stupid leashes.
With a group, I've kited Emberstrife to Crossroads (Halloween present for the Horde). Took an hour and Bliz killed it in about ten minutes, but in those ten minutes was sheer awesomeness...

Everytime a big, outdoor boss came to a town or city, it was always fun.
