It seems to me that the common thread among all these "I'm done with WoW" entries is that the individual thinks that what they experience while playing must be the exact same as everyone else. Play any game long enough and it gets boring and stale to you - but to the new player it is all fresh and exciting. I appreciate the money and time any long-term player had invested in the game, but to blame Blizzard for not giving you enough new baubles to play with or for making it to difficult and time consuming to level your alts is to entirely miss the fact that there is a constant stream of new players coming into the game. I spent years of my life and much $$$ on my flight simming rig, TS servers, system upgrades, etc. - eventually I got bored with it and now most of it gathers dust. Its not the dev's fault that I moved on to something else...or that anyone else has chosen to either. If WoW was fundamentaly flawed and that was causing people to bail I would understand...it just sounds like people are moving on to other interests.
