Reminder: WoW Insider comes to the Xfire Debate Club tonight

Well, tonight is the big class balance debate on Xfire. I'm on vacation in Boston, but I'll be logging in at 6 EST to moderate the panel debate on "Best and Worst Classes."
Our other panelists will be roguemaster Ming, Teza from World of Raids, Mek from Curse Gaming, and arena champions Zeksy, Tiz and Nuvas. So come join us in the Open Debate Room, and remember that we'll be taking audience questions at 6:45 p.m.
Do you have any suggestions for class balance questions?

I'm going to show up tonight. I would like to know what class do you think needs the most help in the game. I everyone I talk to in my guild say they are pretty happy with their class. Well...besides the shamans.

Yeah, would like to see transcripts posted. Everyone I talk to is fairly happy with their class as well. Again, except shamans.
But hey, they were totally OP from 1-60 pre-TBC, so karma's a b*tch, no?

@2 You don't talk to many retribution paladins do you? :O

Just to be first:
"Nerf Warlocks"

I would like to see (or hear?) some discussion of the status of paladins as tanks. Considering the fact that Paladin's are one of the two classes that can wear plate, shouldn't we be able to tank at least as well as warriors?
Here's my personal idea of how to make the Paladin class oh-so-tankable.
Dump Avengers Shield and Holy shield (which is pretty much useless to a tank anyway) and give us these talents.
On tier 7-
Holy Defender-
All attacks against you have a chance to activate defenders aura which makes your Holy Light and Flash of light Spells take 10%/25%/50% shorter to cast.
And our 41 point talent would be-
Shield of Light-
Increases Armor by 30% of current armor for 5mins
(60min cooldown)
That would make me very happy.

Mages used to be, with Rogues, the basic damage-dealing class, with Mage being on top of the list (since they have less surviability). Now It seems that it has all changed, since as a decently stuffed fire mage I have been overDPSes (usually not in PvE but PvP, though it happens for me to besecond on DPSmeters in raid with Warlocks in first place...).
In other words... where has mage DPS gone? Has it just maintained and other classes have been buffed? Is it normal that a Warrior, your basic tanking-class, can do as much damage as they can, and this applies for warlocks...

Actually, all the Pallys I run with are quite happy. With their class - not spec. They go Prot for levelling, Prot or Holy as needed for raiding, and Holy for PvP. Of course, we PvP as a group, and they find being unkillable healers much more fun then being ignored as they try to whack things. =p
Again, though, as for class, they are happy. I'll leave spec discussions up to the CMs.

@5 Why change what ain't broke?
Pallys will never be warriors. I'm a feral Druid tank, I'm not a warrior. When it comes to even 25% magic bosses, let the warrior step up. He's a better tank. When it comes to 100% physical bosses, gimme. I'm a better tank. And run a heroic with a properly geared Prot-spec Pally, and I'll go kitty with glee.
Prot pallys with the right gear and spec blow away warriors and druids on multi-mob aggro. Bar none.
You wanna tank just like a warrior, go be a warrior. But for Heroic and raid trash AoE tanking? I'll happily go with a Pally tank. And we do.
So adjust, yes. Pallys could use a slight tweak, downwards on aggro gen on multiple mobs. But they don't need to be warriors, there's already a class for that.

Buff Priests with a Tranquility type move, and a way to restore mana other then the shitty never working Shadowfiends. Then give Shadow Priests buffs :D
Make Pally's and Shaman remotely useful, pallys cant tank at all.

Feral Druids. They can take two raid roles with the same spec. No other class can do this. I'd love to hear what the panelists have to say about this.

As far as I can tell now, the only classes with any major issues now are Elemental and Enhancement Shamans (and the totem system in general), Retribution Paladins, Holy Priests (barely...they just need their 31 and 41-point talents changed) and then tanks in general (just some refinement for Prot Warriors, Bears, and Tankadins).

2 holes? I'm a feral druid and I take 3 holes, tank, dps and healer. Learn to collect sets haha.
by far shammans need buff the most.
Paladins need to stop complaining about ret. When other classes can bubble and heal, you can do dps close to ours. I still remember the first time i saw immune on my screen, bubble is most OP skill in game, and needs nerf badly. All i've heard of pallys is how much better they are at multi-mob tanking than druid or warrior, so I really don't think they need buff. Of corse I wouldn't know, i'm horde, and most horde that roled paladin know their roll in raiding.
@6 In the top end guilds, mages are topping dps charts since last update. Basically they just made mages have to spec and learn how to play their class to the maximum benifit to be able to top charts instead of letting any inept 21-20-20 mage casing arcane bolt top dps.
priests tranqulity = prayer of healing. Their 51 point holy is an even better ability. Dun be jealous of tranquility, its only druid aoe heal, and its on a 10 minute cooldown.

"When other classes can bubble and heal, you can do dps close to ours."
Considering that priests can do both... I guess that means we should be able to do DPS close to yours now?
"Their 51 point holy is an even better ability."
Darn OP 51 point abilities. BTW nice mess up after mocking someone for saying hole instead of role.
