Who's got BlizzCon tickets? We've got BlizzCon tickets!

Yes, if you're going to BlizzCon, you can expect to see plenty of WoW Insider staff on-hand to cover all the excitement. And if you aren't at BlizzCon, we'll be posting every last scrap of interesting information we find there on the site, so you'll see everything we see! But, no, I'm not making this post just to mock the poor folks who didn't have a chance to purchase tickets because they sold out. I'm making this post to let all of you know that we have some BlizzCon 2007 tickets to give away! So for those of you who were hoping to go to BlizzCon, don't give up yet. We'll be giving away our tickets by random drawing next week -- so stay tuned!

If I got a free ticket, I might turn around and auction it off on E-bay... but most likely, Id go to e perfectly honest. for most, its a "not in a lifetime opportunity"

Ah, we've got the ticket to Blizcon, the airfare and hotel room as well as a suitcase full of food. But can we get the time off of work, that's the kicker.

When I bought my ticket it said they are non-refundable, non-transferable and that the credit card that paid for your ticket had to be in hand when you pick up your ticket.

How are you getting around this?

Hey Drain, these tickets come straight from Blizzard, and they have confirmed that we can give them away. Once they've been given to winners, however, they are nontransferable, so Morianna wouldn't be able to sell hers (if she wins) on eBay.

Mainman, we don't have information yet on who will be eligible for the contest. All of that is determined not by us, but by AOL's legal department, who oversees all contests run by Weblogs, Inc. blogs. We'd love to give EU readers the chance to win these, but we have to follow the decree of legal, and I believe, like most of our contests, it will be US only. :(

These tickets have been given to us by Blizzard. We need to get back to them with a list of specific names of attendees by July 6th -- so, no, you aren't going to be able to sell them on eBay, any tickets won will be for you, specifically. No one else is going to be able to pick them up or use them.

I'm afraid, like all of our recent contests, this one is going to be US only. I know this sucks for a great many of our readers, but it's all our legal department will allow us to do. With a multitude of differing legal standards throughout the world, the official rules would have to be hundreds of pages long to cover the regulations in every country -- not to mention require weeks or months of research to write them. Basically, with the constraints our legal department places on us for contests, we can give away tickets in the US or we can't give away any tickets at all.

I ordered my tickets the same afternoon that they were announced as available. I missed blizzcon last time. I wasn't going to make the same mistake this time.

So I live like 5 miles from Blizzcon, was moving the day the tickets went on sale, and when I got to my destation, they were sold out. I just want to go to see the new Starcraft, and to get my girlfriend the murloc suit. So please pick me. And to all that get to go, have fun. :)
