Breakfast Topic: Mages, we love you!

I'm interested to know what you all love about each the various classes in World of Warcraft, going through them one-by-one. So here's the idea: today's topic is the Mage -- post a comment here and say everything you love about playing a mage, working with a mage, even the challenge of fighting a mage in PvP. There are plenty of places where all people do is complain in one way or another, but let's avoid that today. Let's think of today as "Mage Day" and put all our focus on saying good or encouraging things about them.

Think of it as an evocation of love for our arcane friends.

I love Mages who have faith in their healer's ability to keep them up for AoE pulls.

I love Mages who give me two (sometimes three!) stacks of water, without even being asked.

I loved Mages who re-sheep mobs well before Polymorph is set to expire.

I love Mages who throw a Frost Nova when loose mobs run right at their healer.

I love Mages who say "click to summon" and then cast Portal: Darnassus while waiting for Alterac Valley to start.

I love Mages who get one shotted from my lucky Windfury crits.

I love Mages.

i love playing a mage because i can pop ice armor, mount, and ride through literally dozens of enemies with little fear, even if they're 5 levels higher than me.

I love popping Druids or Rogues out of stealth with one of my instant AoEs. Especially if it is by accident. I love my water and food conjuring. I LOVE knowing I have the ability to pull agro off a tank that is 5 or more levels above me (I try not to though). Mages rule!

i love my mage.

i was tempted to reroll a shammy, but i love burning everything in the face too much

also i love being able to kill 2 or 3 mobs in the same space of time as another class, and not having to buy/beg for food or drink.

i love ignite, i love fireballs, i love presence of mind, i just love everything magey

even frost spec gets some of my love

I came to love mages after watching Vurtne's videos of pwning with a water elemental. My two mains are my hunter and lock b/c I like the pet classes, am now adding an ice mage to that list. WE's ranged Frost Nova ftw!

I love working with them, they give me water and an int buff, I give them +5% crit chance and a cyclone when their frost nova fails....

Teleport and sheep. I mean, seriously, what else do you want from life? You can teleport around while everyone else spend 15 mins flying and you can turn people in small mammals. If that's not cool, nothing is.

I love it when multiple mages slow fall from the lumber mill to BS in AB, land behind me on the hill where i cannot see them, run up and melt my face. it is a beautiful thing to see.

I love being able to get around anywhere i need to quickly.

Since I have to drink so much water, I love that I can make my own.

I love Polymorph:Pig, must be the most humiliating spell ever to cast on someone, and the squeal is even better.

I love that my new 19 twink mage makes all the nelf twink rogues cry.

I love AOE and priests that know how to heal you through it.

I love WoWInsider when they get people to talk positively about classes :)
