Stratics interviews Awake from Nihilum, too
Stratics has posted their own Nihilum interview (here's ours, from last week), and while the piece doesn't actually appear to be in interview format (?), it does have some good info from Awake about how to manage a huge guild, whether PvE players will be able to go professional in the future, and how Nihilum stays on track and GTD.Not too much is new since last week, but Awake does offer up some new info about Nihilum's PvP plans-- they're trying to bring at least two teams into WSVG. Also, Awake mentions that they'll be at Blizzcon in some form (so will WoW Insider, of course, and if you don't have your tickets yet, be sure to watch for our contests all week), and hints that it might have something to do with... Leeroy Jenkins?
So there's not too much to learn if you read last week's interview (or if you're just tired of hearing about Nihilum-- yes, I know there are some of you out there), but if you just can't get enough Nihilum, go check it out.

So tired of hearing of Nihilum...

Yeah enough with these guys already.
"Next news, we learn the nutritional habits and breakfest foods ate by Nihilum members and how Nihilum members met Paris Hilton."

Why do we keep seeing these 'interviews' which are much closer to 'infomercials.' WoWInsider's interview read like a propoganda script (I could see Jeffery Tambor's character from 'Hellboy' delivering Awake's lines). The one at Stratics is bullet points - it is not even an actual interview. The results of these 'interviews' are amateurish nonsense making large of what is essentially cultural backwash.

I always felt like Question: Answer is a lazy form of journalism. There's nothing wrong with giving readers a transcript of the actual questions and their answers, but I really appreciate when a journalist goes the extra mile to put all the information they've gleaned from it into a comprehensive article, rather than just copy/pasting their email or typing their question straight into a news post.
So don't knock stratics for not having an "interview format" that's every bit as lazy as yours. It's still pretty close.

Might as change the name of the game to World of Nihilumcraft.

Quit with the QQs. Most of us raiders do want to read info about Nihilium and their accomplishments because what they achieve indirectly affects the rest of us.
Bottom line: if you don't like to read posts about Nihilium, it's called the scroll button. A lot of us do want to read about this stuff and if you still feel like being a crybaby go back to the general forums where you belong.

Apollon, Most of "Us" raiders DON'T want to hear about them and DON'T hero worship them.

@ Crypt King
At least this is honest to god info about WoW because like it or not, they're on top and that means they'll be talked about. Look at it this way, this could have been another post about the word rape or what some random author thinks is their most tedious monster or what faction God would play in WoW.

@ wobbles
Too true, continue on.

ITT topic people tell us what everyone is thinking, assuming that everyone feels the way they do.
(Hint: You don't. Don't like what Wowinsider posts? There's fecking hundreds of Wow-blogs out there, sod off.)
