Blizzard still holding out hope for Starcraft Ghost?
Well, even if Blizzard as a whole doesn't, Rob Pardo certainly seems to. At the Hollywood & Games Summit, when asked about canceling projects, Pardo responded with his thoughts on Blizzard's ill-fated Starcraft Ghost:
Our most recent one was Starcraft Ghost. With that game we were very stubborn. I still believe in that game and the characters but we were not able to execute at the level we wanted to...Rather than work on that we had to focus on our other games. We're hoping one day to return to it.
So March 2006's indefinite postponement of development on the project may not mean cancellation -- perhaps they're just saving the best for last.

It's a shame. Ghost looked really cool, but if it wasn't up to Blizzard's standards, then I can't complain about them delaying or cancelling it.
Also, it was going to be console-only. Screw that! Hopefully if they resurrect the project, they'll have to good sense to put it on the PC where it belongs.

Well, if Starcraft: Ghost has a sliver of hope, maybe someone should start a campaign for Warcraft Adventures. "Warcraft Adventures release in 2010!"

You guys should really just rename the site to Blizz Insider.
No offense. :P

@3 Well blizzins exists, but it's official and therefore - not impressive at all.
And on topic. Blizz actually said just that "we're going to put this project on hold and one day revisit it for a more up to date console".
So... no real speculation needed.

I think timing it after Starcraft 2 will work out better anyway. There were a lot of fans saying they'd prefer a "true" Starcraft 2 over Starcraft Ghost. I don't think anyone really had a problem with the game itself, and it'll be better received once we've all gotten what we wanted to see first.
