Evasion tanking

As a rogue, my favorite thing is when the entire party is dead except me, the instance boss is at less than 5%, I burn all my cooldowns and evade tank the boss to his death while party chat and vent is filled with "GO GO GO!!" or "HELL YEAH!! KILL IT!!!" Then after the fight, everyone is amazed that I pulled it off and saying "Rogue tank, FTW!!!"

I love being the top damage dealer in my guild. I love owning mobs up close and personal when I farm. I love being able to make $200 gold/hour easily. I love stealth, evasion tanking, vanish and so much more...

Rogues sap'ing people in neutral cities allways gets me in a different mood. If that's a good thing I'll let you figure out ;)

As others have already mentioned, my favorite part of being a rogue is being able to take down the last percentages of a boss's health. The last boss of a Shattered Halls run came down to me and a mage, but the mage had to iceblock because of the adds, so I pop evasion and SS spam my way to the boss's death. I just love being a rogue.

As a priest I must admit I don't see anything "special" about rogues. I much prefer to party with classes that can add something to the overall(buffs, supplies, whatever). Sure they can DPS like anything but that's about it.

I just love the surpise attacks such as Ambush and Backstab. It is so much fun to kill a Mage or something in a few hits.^^

Well just last night I got my first taste of rogue tanking. Our tank went AFK, and instead of waiting around I asked for the healer to keep heals on me and went straight into the mobs. The group replied, "You will die.." but they were unaware of the rogue tank. Needless to say, popping evasion and tanking away my health never went under 75%. Rogue tank ftw.

I love telling people that I can't unlock chest, then unlocking them and taking the l00tz for myself when the party leaves

The best part about playing a rogue in PVE is YOU get to choose when you have to fight. If you want to kill through an entire cave of yeti...go ahead....OR if you want to stealth all the way the the one named mob you need and quickly kill it....thats also your option. Rogues also enjoy about the best "survive-ability" in the game. If I have all my cooldowns available I can get away from damn near anyone, and plan my sweet gank revenge!!

I love how good stunlock rogues can kill enemies without ever letting them get unstunned. But, for rogueness I like my feral druid better :). I'd much rather have the ability to jump out and heal or put on a +400%ac than to pop evasion, vanish, or blind. :) rogues still kewl though

ROGUE TANK - FEAR ME, BEE-OTCHES!!! All the armor in the world, doesn't mean squat when your Blind or Stunned, bleeding like a stuck pig, and I still have all my cooldowns left.

Rolled a dwarf rogue and its been my main since I started playing the game. I love the rogue as my pure farming doing herbs and ores. High DPS, stun locks and steatlth make it great for farming just about everything

My first roll was a Nelf Rogue... I've not learn to evade tank but my guild love my vanish/cable... "lets try that again..." I have a macro that revives and admonishes the group... lol... but when I'm there we get through... but I think I shall have to play with my evade more reading this.

I love raiding with my rogue. Theres nothing like getting in close on all the boss fights, and having my screen filled with the ass end of some demon/dragon/gronn. ;-)
seriously
rogue tanking as previously said
sneaking around and introducing mobs and players to my daggers.
stun locking

A good rogue is the only class I have serious issues with to kill in pvp, as a warlock. That's why I love them, that's why I hate them.

I think my favorite thing about playing a rogue is 'turning off' the damage that is put out. A lot of people debate different types of dps, but I think if whatever the mob is that you are fighting sways back and forth under cs/ks, never casts and dies without doing much damage... I've done my job. (now if just more bosses would do that...)
There's nothing so satisfying as interrupting spell after spell in pvp, too, while they are 'bleeding like a stuck pig' as said above...
Stepping away from my main to play another class for a while reminds me just how painful it is to have to rez often - I've gone so long without having to do so when soloing it feels odd to actually die... (and is why having vanish broken so long was just so painful to rogues, it changed their sense of self...)

I love rogues! pop a freeze trap behind me, flare in front of me, and when they get me, my pet starts attacking, get big and red, wing clip and kite. Gah, I love it. they sooo cute, lol
I once asked a rogue how he takes out hunters that camp like that and he said "we don't" quite the humble class IMHO
