Either he quit some time ago and dissed all his Gear, and is now looking for moneys in ogrimmar to buy that new sword...

Or...he simply had no cash for items, cuz he saved for that imba Epix Mount...

Or...he is one of those brats, who carry around a set of trashy items, and equip those before logging off, so armory doesnt show his true powers^^
