Back in the BC-beta days I found a bug in one of the BE quests, I had a talk about it with a GM and he e-mailed me some hints how to solve it. I was a warlock and he said goodbye with: 'May the shadows serve you well' or something like that. My response was: 'I'm destruction specced, I use fire...' We had a laugh :P

One time one of the mobs in Darkshire was stuck (couldn't hit it or anything) so I contacted a GM. He came along and fixed it, concluding our conversation with "May many creatures of Azeroth fall by your blade and your mighty pet" or something along those lines. It put a big smile on my face for the rest of the day :p

I've run into a few who were either rude or just plainly didn't give a shit, but for the most part, my experiences with the GMs have been good.

I too ran accross some who seem quite rude, for example, me a friend were taking on a rare spawn in shadowmoon valley and i used my entangle roots on it but it kept moving while still taking damage from the roots. I contacted a GM about this and all he/she told me was that it was working as it should (uh....no its not). But i recently contacted a GM about a possible bug exploit by a player and he/she really nice and seemed genuinly interested in this problem. So its been a back and forth thing, but i try not to contact them too much cause theres only so much "Its working as it should" or "Its a known problem" answers one can handle.

Had to contact them twice. Once for a griefer and once as I thought an item had gone missing.
Both times the GM's I spoke with were very polite and dealt with my problem in a timely manner.

I had a random problem and a gm ended it with “please can you control you imp it has been seen misbehaving in south shore setting fire to the bottom of people robes” I was laughing for awhile about it, (yes I am a lock )

I had a problem recently where Mend Pet was causing my eating to be interrupted (bug fixed now). Contacted the GM who told me it was a "known bug". He asked if I had anything else that needed done.
I said: "Not unless 'Buff Huntarz!!!!1!1oneonetwo!!' counts as a request."
He/she replied: "Last time I tried buffing a hunter it exploded."
I laughed my ass off.

One time me and 2 of my friends just felt like being jerks so we went and fished in AB and AV. Eventually we got people mad at us and he reported us. When a GM actually contacted us, we all got the exact same message from the same GM. In the end telling us to enjoy our pvp experience!

One time I submitted a ticket about some buggy murlocs in Swamp of Sorrows. I told the GM that I had murloc related PTSD and she comforted me and told me that just becuase I was being attacked by invisible murlocs it didn't mean I was crazy and she said she had as special hammer for when she goes a murloc hunting.

I had reported a lock for being able to swim in the air somehow. The GM was nice, and pleasent and said, "that bug is something we plan on squashing". I had a good laugh about it :)

After reporting a list of bots with SpamSentry (when it was still possible) a GM replied he had "sent his gnomish ninja cyborgs" onto it.
Another fun one was when I had used item recovery and the item would be mailed to me ingame, and I asked if that was regular mail that would arrive in an hour or not. The GM replied that it was 'Gnomish Express mail' , and that 'a gnome has been strapped onto a rocket and launched. It's a lot faster than regular mail, sadly, the gnome usually doesn't survive the trip.'
He went on about having an allergy to gnomes, and having a special goblin-made rocket launcher that draws the gnomes to it and is then able to shoot them away.
I had a real good laugh in both conversations hehe

All of the GM contacts I ever had were very friendly and helpfull.
One funny comment a GM once gave me after reporting yet another gold-seller was something like "...and remember, once you posted 100 tickets you'll get a personal hug from your favorite GM!!".

I love when I attempt to report bugs and the GM suggests I post them in the "suggestions forum".

You know, I've never had a problem with a GM, except for the one time I actually had an in-game bug, about a week ago. Before that, I used GM's, rarely, and when I did, it was to report other players.
The epic-pvp gear vendor disappeared out of Champion's Hall in SW one morning about a week ago. I created a ticket, and got a GM who first told me the dwarf upstairs sold the gear (no--not anymore, a Draenei female does, and she was the one that disappeared). He then was silent, and after I informed it was EPIC pvp gear, he told me that could only be bought from Area 52. And again, no, not epic arena gear, dammit. Finally, I had to explain to him how the gear system worked and who sold what. He then disappeared for a few minutes, presumably to ask around the office, and came back and confirmed that yeah, she's missing. And, no, he didn't know when she'd be fixed.
Either the guy was completely uninformed about the World of Warcraft, or Blizzard's already confusing PvP gear/vendor system is confusing even to people they employ. I'm guessing its the first one.

I've reported people and things FAR too many times. The worst one I'd ever gotten was when I reported a Feign Death bug (Where you FD, and shot RIGHT after, and the FD doesn't count. Turned out to be a latency issue, where I should just stay in FD for a second longer than the global cooldown.) and he starts asking me to clear my WTF folder. I'm thinking, how do my mods have ANYTHING to do with an ingame ability not working? Mindless peons that ask you to clear your WTF folder before even looking up the problem... /shudder

I have had many meetings with GMs, both good an bad. More good tho, and they are funny and have a good sense of humor.
When I was on my IcftB Alt (Before the Tabard contest) a lot of player agreed that Ellen DeGeneres should be on the tabard, so I ticketed a GM to see if this could be done. Of course he said to check the Suggestion Forum on WoW.com, but before he left I took suggestions from the guild for questions they had. This ranged from 'Why do the good die young?' to 'What is the air speed velocity of a fully laden swallow?'. The GM was nice enough to answer all of them with his/her opinion.
I also have had two runs in with a Senior GM. While I was in Hyjal (Not CoT Hyjal, Current one) I had a ticket in for another issue I had. He appeared before me since my ticket was escalated so much and found that I was in Hyjal. He was cool about it and opened a port to Org for me. The other time I was stuck under Silvermoon and the GM appeared before me for a guild issue that had been escalated three times and was urgent. This time he didn't do anything and was quickly left after talking.
The SM one I took a SS of, You can find it here ---> http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h170/bowsermaster12/WoWScrnShot_030807_182549.jpg

The last time I contacted a GM was while the gold spammers were running unchecked and SpamSentry was my best friend for reporting them. I got a whisper from a GM that started with "*You feel a tiny tug around your knees and a small voice pipes up* Excuse me, do you have a moment to talk about your ticket?" I started laughing and said sure. We talked about the gold spammers and how annoying they were, before they had to move to the next ticket. The last whisper they sent me was "*A small hand pats your knee* Have a good day, and please remember to look where you step. I'm squishy." Thank god for GMs with a sense of humor and who try to keep things entertaining, even in the middle of chaos.

About a month ago, I had an issue invovling the elevator door at UC. It opened, and I fell and fell and died, then fell and fell some more. I submitted a petition and about ten min later I managed to rez back at the GY and not in the aether.
I had a nice conversion about what happened with them and they asked the usual question at the end "Anything else I can help you with?". I replied "Nerf Locks?" and their comment back was "We are leaving the Locks alone but we are going to nerf Rogues in the next patch". I laughed, I was on my rogue alt. I told them "my main is a Lock and he needs to be left alone, he's troubled enough." His last reply was "Yeah, people who punt cats are disturbed."

Well, i had to contact a GM once to report something, while playing a rogue, and she neded the conversation with "May your deeds go unseen but not unheard of." We had a good laugh about it :)
