WoW Moviewatch: Kittens and WoW

What is it with kittens and World of Warcraft? What's their strange draw to the monitor or keyboard? Because I'm telling you -- you can't browse World of Warcraft videos these days without being overwhelmed by an onslaught of adorable kittens, busily trying to melt faces or pwn n00bs. They've clearly got an unhealthy fascination with that cursor...

I have two boy kitties. Sephiroth loves to bang on the arrow keys and screw me up, while Gambit is always trying to steal my food. Cat aggro has certainly gotten me killed a few times.
And don't forget, every time you gank, God kills a kitten.

I have to admit that I have purposefully logged on and set myself to fly from one end of a continent to the other just for the joy of watching my cat try to catch the bird. He'll bit at the screen paw at the screen and sometimes crawl around behind trying to figure out where that bird is on the other side.

Cats love cursors... it's not some WoW-specific thing. One of my cats nearly knocked one of my panels off my desk once attacking my cursor... needless to say I don't find it as cute as I used to.

our kitten scratched the glass on my roomie's monitor by doing that. i can't remember the brand but it wasn't a cheapo or anything. careful folks, kitten claws are much sharper than adult cats!

Cats love wow! One of my favorite raiding moments was when we were all zoned in to MC waiting for a raid to start, when all of a sudden a little gnome warlock charged the 2 molten giants. (Luckily it didn't wipe the group, half of who were prolly afk) The player came back from his afk and was like "wtf, why am I dead" His cat had come up on his desk and hit his keyboard and charged him forward.../lol
