There are only a few days remaining for Blizzard's Midsummer Fire Festival, so over in our
It Came from the Blog guild on Zangarmarsh, we're going to take full advantage of the final days of the festival with a last minute run through high-level areas to collect our
quest reward shoulders. You'll have to be at least level 7 to pick the quest up, and while the quest is going to be dangerous for the level of most of our players, we're going to make the run to the Blasted Lands, the Plaguelands, the Hinterlands, and Searing Gorge as a group. My advice: come expecting a few deaths and leave your armor in the bank.
If this sounds like fun to you (or if those shoulders just look too cool to turn down), meet up with us in the throne room above Undercity at 6:00 PM server time (that's 8:00 PM EST) on this Wednesday, July 4th. Look forward to seeing you all there!

Certainly not challenging enough as it stands. lvl 7-30's running into the searing gorge? Bpha! Easy!
To make it really challenging, we'll turn our PVP flags on as well.

I did all of the "Flickering Flames" and "Wild Fires" quests with my level 28 paladin last week, picking up all the flight paths while I was at it. On the whole, the ones in Eastern Kingdoms were much easier for me to do with relatively little corpse dragging. The ones in Kalimdor were much harder. Getting to the flame in Ashzara was particularly difficult and I died many, many times. Getting across Un'Goro to Silithus was pretty rough too, however, I managed to find a safe path from the Un'Goro flight path to the Silithus exit by walking along the mountain tops and avoiding the crater floor entirely.
I'm not going to even attempt the "Stealing" quests.

Lv. 7 is unnecessary! My bank alt did it from lv.1 (of course she is 5 now after finishing the quest!) and now she has very interesting shoulders.

FYI on the steal the flame quests, lowbies can't start the quest even though they can loot it, so safe yourself a bit of trouble, think 55+ is required to start those quests...

i did all those quests on my alt, at level 23. Took for bloody ever, its ends up as one big corpse run. Started at Uc then when to plaugelands and did all the fires in thr eastern kingdoms, then when to kalamdor ans did them. good fun thro love the crit buff thing, Get about 15% crit rate now on spell:) took me about 4 hours to do.

I was all about meeting up, then realized this wasnt going to be on my server :(
But I may run the quests anyway on my lvl 43.
