Tabard design contest winners!

I'm sure you've all been dying with curiosity while waiting to hear the winners of last week's tabard design contest -- and to find out which tabard would become the official guild tabard of WoW Insider's It Came from the Blog guild on Zangarmarsh. so, fortunately, I'm here to announce the winners! In first place, and showing off the tabard you see to the right, is Hellbena, whose eyes tabard snagged first place. Yep, this is the tabard you will soon see on ICftB members all over Zangarmarsh!In second place, we had Zungaba with this lovely bunny tabard and in third place we have Sylvina's excellent octopus design. (To see the rest of our entries, check out our tabard gallery!) All of our winners are taking home an I'm Only Here Because My Server Is Down t-shirt from J!NX (think of them as a RL version of your tabard), so if you meet any of them in-game, be sure to congratulate them!

just shows you that sex will sell anything. the same tabard on a tauren would have bombed.

lol, the major downfall of the eye tabard is that since a handful of the races slouch the eyes are barely seeable. The best view of the eyes are on females... but having eyeballs popping out of your breasts is kind of disturbing.
Anyhow, grats to those who won, myself included. In the past week or so I've been mentioned 3 times in 3 different WoWInsider articles, and I've won 2 shirts. I'm glad my luck stat is steadily increasing. Hoorah!

I voted for the scroll, cos I felt it matched the whole blog thing the best.
No offense to the creator, but the tabard of that scheme will be hard for it to match with gear, eyes, hair, and so on. So all in all, I say meh.

Well, this was decided by democratic process, folks. Hellbena got 183 votes, Zungaba 142, and Slyvina 117, out of a total of 684 votes.
I'm not precisely sure what drew people to the eyes tabard. The colors are nice and the skull boarder is kind of cool. The eyes are something of a unique logo and apparently resonated with a lot of people.
And the people voicing support for this tabard weren't just guys enjoying a good view of a blood elf -- there were women who picked this as their favorite tabard, as well. (No, not just people who are saying they're girls on the internet, but actual girls.)

What I was thinking is, that because the name of the guild is It came from the Blog, people had a picture of eyes from something coming out a 'blog' maybe?
That's what I thought at least.
Some sort of monster coming from the blog!

Is it too late to consider changing the name of the guild? I bet a contest to choose a cool name would come up with something better than "It came from the blog"...

I don't think the tabard is officially in game yet, since the winners have just been decided. However, I'm hoping to have it in-game today or tomorrow.

/Sigh. I'm sorry, but I'm with some of the others -- I'll not be wearing the tabard, as much as I hate to say it. Perhaps in part that's because my main toons are already in a guild in which we have a tabard of eyes....and I don't even wear THAT one. Seriously, it's not a good look. But such is democracy. Many times my political candidate(s) don't win either.....Hmmm, Canada and Guildwars....... Bah, who am I kidding?

It's an awesome guild tabard because of how the eye's slightly lowered location improves the already stunning apearance of the bloodelf's unatural endowment. The green on blue does not look bad, it looks very nice. I selected it because in truth, even in the real world, this tabard 'works' and is more appealing than the others. (the model does take credit not because the model makes the tabard more appealing, but because the tabard makes the model more appealing... such is fashion)
