WoW Moviewatch: 4.5-man Onyxia

When we received a tip pointing us to this video, the first thing I did was search around YouTube to see if there were any Onyxia kills with fewer people. Maybe there are, but if so, I couldn't find them. Here we have a group of 5 level 70s (Hunter, Paladin, Druid, Shadow Priest, and Mage) taking down Onyxia -- but we're calling it a 4.5-player group because the Mage disconnected at some point during the 20-minute fight. Nice kill, Solinari!

This movie isn't very impressive since before TBC there was actually a movie of 3 level 60s killing her. They were european and the movie was poor quality, but it was 45 minutes + long and seemed legit. If I remember correctly it was a warrior, hunter, and paladin/priest -- I don't remember which type of healer.

The video was speeded up because .. yeah it went on a while.

Ony was 2-manned by a pair of priests post BC, look around for it. Apparently it took like 4 hours.

I'm pretty sure I first saw the 2 priest, 1 war, 1 rogue group down ony from wowinsider. Though it might have been warcraftmovies back on its old color scheme.

Hey quick question, i noticed how th hunter's interface was the basic default one with th obvious dm/ktm. but i noticed he had the party members and his own icon as a 3d moving icon. iv been looking for a good one of these for awhile, just wondering if anyone knew the name of the mod he is using, or a similar one, cheers :)

6 Manned it recently, however from 39%->10% (when our second battle res came up ;) ) a tank and druid combo shield bashed Ony to death... 40 minutes or so total I think before we could get a res on one of the hunters and nuke in about a minute.
Hilarity ensues.

answer to that question above which for some reason got cut off my original reply is Ag UnitFrames you mighrt be able to get it seperately but it's also part of the ACE UI compilation.
