PvP gem hotfix needs a hotfix

For PvPers out there interested in the Mystic Dawnstone pattern from Halaa, a hotfix was applied yesterday which made it available at vendors in the city. Or, well, should have made it available. Reports from the European forums today suggest that the hotfix needs a hotfix, because the pattern still isn't spawning properly on EU realms. (No reports from US realms -- which I presume means everything is working as intended on US servers. But let us know if it's not!) Stay patient, everyone -- Blizzard is working on a fix.

Is it a limited vendor item? I had problems with getting the Fused Wiring schematic in Winterspring so I used I trick I read about online. Basically, you toggle your "At War" flag on for the vendor's faction, kill the vendor, and let the guards kill you. Then run back from the graveyard and make sure to toggle the "At War" flag back off before your rez. When the vendor respawns, they should have all their limited recipes again.

I picked this pattern up last night after taking Halaa from the alliance. I'm assuming the pattern spawns when the blade merchant pops after the town switches to either faction's possession. Beyond that no clues on how long it takes for the pattern to respawn on the vendor.

I thought I read somewhere that it was a 1h timer, or that it respawns if halaa changes factions.

Oh, and that's a nice trick Krick. I tried it a while back on the mote vendor in Stormspire and it didn't work. That would have been too lucrative and once word got out i'm sure he'd be slain more than Vanndar and Drek.

It is on a 1hr timer, unless you're on EU servers, where it's not spawning at all.

@4 I don't know what to say. I killed the engineering supplies vendor in Winterspring and when he respawned, he had every limited recipe.

Maybe not all limited recipes spawn this way. I've read theories that some limited recipes are on a spawn timer that is triggered by purchasing another item from the same vendor, but nobody really knows if it's true or not.
