I can sort of relate to the developers in this case (being one myself).

When you are looking 1000s of issues in your bug list of things you need to fix, it's a hot Friday afternoon, and you have a cold one waiting for you in the fridge. What bug are you going to choose to fix?
(1) Impelment Zul'Aman.
(2) Fix all the textures on every Ogre.
(3) Change the sound of moving wind rider mount icon in inventory.
(4) Re-balance Naxxaramus

I still agree that there are probably more important issues to get around to, but once in a while when you have this many fixes pending; sometimes you get a lot more motivation developing the big ones knowing you can always quickly fix the small ones, even on a Friday afternoon ;)
