Yep, I had to disable the resident shield as well (don't just shut down AVG via your system tray). Open up the AVG console and shut down the shield. WoW should boot up fine after that. If your .dll was deleted, you can download a replacement. I'm too lazy to find the link, but it was within Blizzard's support forum.
