WoW Insider has the latest on the Mists of Pandaria!

PTR Notes: It's a pink, pink, pink, pink world

One of my favorite things about new patches on Public Test Realms is seeing how innocuous things can get completely screwed up. For example, in this patch, orc shoulders are still tiny (although that's apparently being fixed) -- however, Azeroth has been attached by a virulent plague of the color pink.

A hot pink sheen has been reported on certain weapons and mounts in WoW. Especially egregious are the Pinkfury, the Pink Thunder, and the Pink Elekk. Blizzard officials have said it's a bug, but it's sort of funny to see all the orc warriors in tears over their pink crafted weapons and little mini-shoulders ...

Aurre of Lightning's Blade has proposed an exchange: the pink weapons and orc shoulders can go back to how they were before, in return for the Swift Pink Hawkstrider actually becoming neon pink. No word from Silvermoon City on this deal, but it seems like the sort of thing the blood elves would agree to.

This isn't my favorite graphical bug of all time, though -- that's tied between when male gnome faces get pasted onto female nelves, and in the BC beta when they gave all the Fel Reavers bear models. What do you think of this pink explosion?
