For the many Orc players unhappy about the state of their shoulder armor, I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is that Drysc has confirmed that
the fix for the shoulder armor graphics has made it into the upcoming 2.2 patch! And the bad news? Well, no one knows quite when the 2.2 patch is going to get off the PTRs and on the live realms, so you're going to have to live with those oddly-sized shoulders for a while yet...

While I empathize with the Orc players, I still have to laugh. It's funny because of the race it happened to. Still, I wouldn't want to log onto my gnome one day and find tiny shoulders and pink weapons.
Oh wait...

I'll miss having a good laugh at any orcs I happen to come across.

The proper response would have been to shrink orcs to gnome-size in response to the incessant whining/flaming that occurred. ;)

Funny thing is that this shoulder bug hasn't affected
the shoulders of any player who turns into a Fel Orc at the netherwing ledge. Poor Orcs T.T Ur evil counterparts wave their huge assets in your face.

Being an orc, I've gotta say it was the most tramatisingevent in my entire life...
/break down in tears
If only Blizz would just do something about it!

Yeah they'll fix the shoulders, but then watch the hands or the mouth shrinks to 1% it's normal size. So either you have Orc with tiny hands like carnie folk or you have some Hello Orc!s running around with no mouth.

Thank god. Finally the wailing tantrums can stop. I mean, Horde are supposed to be such tough guys, right? Especially Orcs. They're big, they're green, they have pointy teeth and yell all the time. But change their shoulder pads and they run around like little girls screaming about their favorite party dress that has a loose thread. Bunch of nancy boys if you ask me.
Best patch ever. Bar none. Best patch ever.

Lookie there, Blizzard falls all over itself to cater to the whiny little twats who wail and bitch about their tiny shoulders.
I agree with Andrew: they should have shrunk Orcs to gnome size, made them pink AND ALLIANCE.
That would teach them to clogg up the intartubes with whining.

Umm...@8 - wouldn't it be catering to them if they immediately hotpatched it...instead of them saying, lol oh yeah we introduced a visual bug with some fixes we made...we'll get that fixed sometime, next patch maybe. I hardly think Blizz is "caving" on this one. They broke something, so they're fixing it next patch...there's nothing new or exciting here.

please please keep them as they are now
not some chandeliers perchered on orc arms.

When do undead get bigger shoulders? I saw an awesome-looking set of shoudlers on a tauren, so I inspected him to see what they were... turns out it was the exact same shoulders I was wearing, but on me (undead female) they were so small the detail was lost! I want shoulds as big as the Sun dammit!
p.s. they were Vestia's Pauldrons of Inner Grace:

GTFO people trying to insult orcs.
You pansies wouldn't like it if your shoulders suddenly got gnome size.
Then again it isn't happening to any of you undead/BE fags so it doesn't matter, right?

As someone who's got a character of every Horde race, I think they should fix this ASAP. I mean, it looks kinda stupid...it hasn't interfered with me killing Alliance, but I just want my gear to look like it was made for me, not like I bought ill-fitting clothes at the WoW thrift store.
