Premade characters now available on the PTR

Premade level 70 characters with "high level raid dungeon equipment" are now available to be copied to the US Public Test Realms.There are two catches:
1) You have to have The Burning Crusade in order to copy and test these characters because they are level 70.
2) There seems to be a 3 day wait time.
Do you want to play with Patch 2.2 sporting some free epics? Go here and start the copy process. Blizzard asks that you allow the copy process to finish before logging into the Test Realm. There is a Copy Status page where you can check your progress.
This is an excellent opportunity to not only play with the new features (and bugs) in 2.2, but also to try out a class/race combo you may be considering rolling -- all tricked out in purples.

I'm pretty sure if you go to EVERY wow news website you'll find the same stories. There's not really enough WoW news going on every day. So whenever something changes, it goes up on every site.

Did they mention anything about the talents of those pre-made characters, along with the type of gear they have? (eg. It would suck to try out an Enhancement Shaman that happened to have resto gear.)

All I know is that these people get PAID to write for this site... and other people are basically writing for them. You couldn't pull this shit on Engadget or Joystiq... which are both owned by the same parent as this site.

Blizzard figured that if they didnt add premades, they couldn't stress test build in VoIP enough with the 40 or so people that normally play :p

This is a novel idea for people who are considering re-rolling or claim other classes are OP. If you think they're OP...go try playing one for a few weeks and see if you still hate them. Maybe you just aren't a good player (and yes, even I believe locks are over powered).
Anyway...you can't participate in the PTR if your account hasn't been active since at least November 13, 2006. Locks me out from giving it a shot. Sad panda...

Seems to be down right now, I can't complete the request to add a premade. Copying existing characters seems to work well enough though.

hey is this supposed to happen, or what?
i have made 5 chars total and could keep going, i checked. will this push the 1st char i made off the 'list' or can i go as much as i want? and is anyone else getting this?
