Well met, Matthew. Great coverage column.
I've never rolled a warrior, but I'm a priest veteran (several of them under my belt, and another on the way up the ranks) I can tell you, if all warriors followed the advice you listed; and if everyone followed the advice you listed to them; we'd be in perfect harmony.
I can't tell you how many times I've had to school someone (alongside the usually competent warrior) on why pounding the enemy with everything you've got, and burning all your cooldowns before the warrior even takes a shot is completely incompetent. Just like the guy above me:
DPS'ing Shadow Priest - But I'm doing damage loool? DNT wry! I has shadoform keke? I kan also heel if i is in truble.
Me (Healer) - Yes, but you're doing damage before the warrior can hold aggro. It's easier on all of us if you don't solo the whole instance.
Idiot Priest: LOOL. I kan take hole instance solo u kno, rite?
Warrior/Hunter/Me/Mage - Y'know what, fine.
Rageman has left the party (warrior)
Range has left the party (hunter)
Odysse has left the party (mage)
Selinoth has left the party (me)
