Resto Shammies can't take hits in PvP? Ask anyone who has had to face one 1v1 with Earth Shield and you will find that they can last a mega-long time. Take dmg and constantly heal themselves while they wait for their team to help them out.

Enh Shammies got dual-wield in 2.1? Wha? Pretty sure it was 2.0.

There are some good points in this article, but many points fail because they are based on assumptions and facts that were true around WoW 1.0.
