Wow. No matter what you might, in your humble opinion, think, you have obviously never been partied with a real paladin tank; probably just those retnubs who think tanking is the same as it is for a warrior. I hatehatehate to sound cocky, but I'm a paladin tank who can't log on to check my mail without being asked by one or more of the healers on my friend-list to tank something for them. Why? Because, with some knowledge and experience, a prot paladin can tank anything a warrior can, only with far more damage output and threat generation.
