Please for the love of god blizzard, new classes and hero classes.
Baluki Jul 27th 2007 1:16PM
I'd love to see a new class or two, but I'd ESPECIALLY love to see the current classes taken in some interesting new directions, a la the so-called "Hero Classes".
I don't think we'll be seeing new playable races. There aren't really enough left that are definitively allied with either faction.

I want Pandaren Brewmasters.

I'm putting money on Necromancer.

@3
During development they had a necromancer class slated for inclusion, but axed it because it was too similar to warlocks.
I wouldn't hold my breath.

I never said I was betting the farm. Maybe a dollar.

I wouldn't mind a reincarnation option at max Level. Leveling requires more XP, but you get more HP. A reincarnated level 2 would have more HP than a regular level 2.

New lvl 20-60 content would make starting new alts much more enjoyable. While we've gotten more efficient at getting new chars up to 70, having the new quest types seen in the expansion for this range would make rerolling an option again for many.

I, for one, hope (and expect) that they'll never introduce new classes. Anything thing else they could come up with is just going to be a hybrid of existing classes. We don't need hybrids of hybrids. Eventually we'll just have a bunch of classes that are slight variations of each other. Sounds both boring and confusing.

Actually, I'd like to see a boasting feature added in the near future. For example, there would be a boast option to quests that would allow for more xp or money if the whole quest was done unarmed, unarmored, under a time limit etc...

SuperSnagg, best comment. Mid-level grind currently is AWFUL when compared to the new content that TBC introduced. If the next expac introduces new midlevel content or some way to reward players who have already made it to 70 with a quest/something to get a new character to higher levels.
HOWEVER, the downside with this is you skip the whole 'learning the class through the levels' bit and could lead to a LOT of inexperienced upper level characters.

I really want to see what they do with these "Hero Classes".

20-60 revamp. ty

Im kinda surprised that the survey didn't include an option for expanded old world areas, or new 20-60 level quests..... more soloable epics please, as raiding is getting harder and harder to support and guild getting harder and harder to keep intact.
Bachus Jul 27th 2007 11:54PM
aye aye on the revamp of mid level content! most of TBC was to cover 60-70 and new races. they should release a smaller, less "new content" demanding new continent up to 80 with no new races/classes and the focus on making azeroth questing, etc worth a damn.
Elizabeth Harper Jul 28th 2007 6:36AM
Well, I didn't include an option for revamped 20-60 content because if it happens, it's not going to be in an expansion. They wouldn't be able to release an expansion that revamped old Azeroth simply because it would be impractical to have a version of Azeroth only accessible by people with the expansion and a version of Azeroth that's accessible by people without the expansion. At best, I think you'd wind up with two versions of Azeroth, which would just be... awkward. Recall that to keep areas such as Silvermoon City off-limits to non-expansion owners, not only is it behind a special portal, but no Azeroth flight paths connect to it. If they had a more elegant solution for meshing expansion content with existing content, I think they would have used it there.
If the majority of 20-60 content is revisited, I believe it will be done in patches, rather than an expansion. On the other hand, adding new zones with level 20-60 content, accessible only by expansion players, in or out of Azeroth would be quite possible for an expansion...

now, this comment has nothing really to do with suggestions on new game content, but mor e like wondering why blizz doesn't announce when and where blizzcon will be further in advance. the reason being is some of us have to put in our vacation plans early, and if lets say blizzcon was always help around the same time every yea ror eveery other year, or whatever; then some of us can make palns if we wanted to go.

I love WoWInsider, but y'all seem to be asking variants of the same "what would you like to see added" question over and over again.
* Guild housing
* New 30-60 content
* Sidekick/mentor feature
Etc., etc. on the other stuff I've posted before.
