Around Azeroth: Let the bodies hit the floor
Reader Chris was just logging on to the public test realms to check out the arena vendors when he stumbled into this scene. So take this word of advice -- if you're simply interested in examining new vendor items, perhaps copying your characters over to the PvP test realm isn't the best idea. Otherwise you'll never manage to find the vendors for the corpses!

Yea, I found out of the BT PTR that I'll never copy over to a PVP test realm again. What a waste of time..

Last week every premade char materialized right in front of Zul'Aman - and The Makers know why, even on the PVE PTR every single one had PVP enabled. Well, the horde obviously had a headstart which meant instant death for any alliance. Nice...

THey were PvP flagged (alliance anyhow) because Ghostlands is a Horde controlled zone, so alliance are always automatically flagged there, even on Pve realms.

The only zones on PvE servers where you are auto flagged are in enemy faction cities. If you are in the zone outside the cities (Durotar or Elwynn Forest for example) you are NOT auto flagged for PvP. The auto flag only applies to PvP servers when you leave your faction controlled areas. If you wander into a enemy faction controlled area on PvP servers, you can be attacked but you cannot attack unless your target is flagged.
