There's a specific season?!?!?! Oops, my bad. I though that it was a year round thing. It's not like they're an endangered species. They always seem to come back after I kill em' though.

I reject this. I play a gnome in the game, and I feel this is an insult to other gnomes. There are tons of jokes made to us, constantly. I guess I take it too personal, but this kind of stupidity reflects the narrow minds and sterotypes of the real world, and an event like this just reinforces it.

Now, Everyone remember the most important part of Gnome hunting. It is a sport you undertake for the glory, the bragging rights, maybe even for that new pair of slippers you've been thinking of getting. But there is one important thing to remember not to do.
Do not under any circumstance eat a gnome, you do not know what sort of chemicals or potions that they have ingested or soaked in, this is the race that nuked its own capitol remember.

I really don't understand all the animosity toward gnomes. They're just an imaginary race in a game. If you don't like a race, don't play them, but actively hating them for their physical features is senseless.
All of you need to take a deep breath and remember that the person behind that character you hate is just that--a person, and one with similar interests to you, at that.
Hatred against in-game avatars is dehumanizing and irrational.
Unless it's against elves. Then it's natural and right.

I think the anti-gnomism is due to the unnerving effect gnomes have on other players. I originally rolled Horde on a pvp server and found the sight of a mass of bouncing, hopping gnomes rolling out of Ratchet towards the Crossroads rather unsettling and creepy.
So when the wife wanted to re-roll Alli I of course made both of us roll gnomes. ;)

Gnome season huh? didn't know we had specific season for picking on the little guy/girl. I for one agree with 9... Bring it! I maybe small and I may go down, but you'll go with me ;-)! Arc/Fire gnome mage FTW (no matter what level)!
Seriously, this is a normal thing, or is Flaval just promoting his hatred to others? Or next year this time will I have to be on my guard again? Just wondering.
