Go check it now and please write some news.

#1 quite right. You guys are doing a crappy job of covering Blizzcon

I don't want to insult any of the writers here (I visit this site for 4 months now, it won't get old soon) but you guys seem to be cought up in your little adventures and not really focusing on what the readers need - game information.

New expansion. Way to be slow, what was all "best coverage of Blizzcon"? I doubt that.

If there's all sorts of other sources who are getting it up there faster, and you're reading those, then why care how fast WoWInsider is? They'll all be covering/reporting the same stuff in the end anyhow.
Personally, I'm glad the writers at WoWInsider are fans first, and reporters second. It's part of what makes this site better than your average rumor-mill. Have fun out there guys...and then give us all the dish. Wish I could be there. :)

Perhaps WoW Insider wishes to hold themselves to higher standards of accuracy and wish to maintain a good working relationship with Blizzard than MMO Champion. The expansion is months away, will a few hours really matter? I doubt it. MMO champion is among the sites I equate to how WoW Guru was, showing off stuff Blizzard doesn't want out and using illegal private servers to validate their content. I don't even bother with them, I prefer official validated info.

I'm so sry, the news on mmo-champion are where wowinsider gets it's news mostly. Their news are as official as possible. ;]

This is just plain weird. I remember minute by minute updates for the Starcraft 2 announcement earlier this year. And for WoW's second expansion...nothing much at all. I found out *officially* it was Wrath of the Lich King thanks to my brother in law, who is at the convention, calling me this morning and telling me it was in one of the books he got with all his swag. WTH? How hard is it to take a flip through the book, and post that yep, its Wrath of the Lich King?
Slow or not, having the book right there with the info in it and not saying anything doesn't say much for being a fan or a reporter.

Lighten up goofballs.
Other sites are just confirming what we have all known for the past week (at least). They have reported nothing new at all.
I suspect when the Wowinsider crew have something new and exciting we will hear about it.

from her twitter:
Posters for Wrath of the Lich King are up. Lots of demo stations set up for the expansion, but we aren't yet allowed to play.
