I think that this writer was being over optimistic. They mentioned that they are going to buff our food/water abilities. This doesnt have me exited as we are being outdamaged by pretty much everyone and that is never really answered, i have no idea why shadowpriests were even brought up in the answer.

And about aoe, it is for gimmick fights and almost always seed of corruption is going to be better. I would lvoe for mages to be actually kind of something, but the devs just keep missing the point it seems.
