@11Well, then either your rogues and locks suck, or they are badly undergeared. If you'd put a naked lock and a naked mage trough a dps test, they'd probably be equal, but lock spells scale far better then mage spells. As a result of this, the better the gear gets, the worse mages start to peform compared to other dps classes. Rogues scale in a different manner, it heavily depends on the weapons they find. That's why comparing scaling between casters and melee is quite difficult, but generally, rogues these days should outdps mages after a certain gear levelBesides this, most bossfights in tbc require a lot of movement, and that favours locks a lot compared to mages. Mages do no dps at all while moving, while locks still have their dots ticking. Also silences favour locks compared to mages. But these are not as common as having to walk a lot during a bossfightAlso we have big mana issues (which isn't getting any better with the longer and longer bossfights we seem to be getting), which we can solve by giving up even more dps for spirit. I don't mind having some of the downsides, but come on, they could atleast fix one of the issues. It's nice and all that we're the testbed for the devs, but can't they atleast try buffing us? :P
