Wait what? We have to decide wether Arthas takes us over or beat him or so?

I hope we do not have to choose between an awesome reward or to be able to play Death Knight, and also, making the questline feel like it ends in failure (you going down even though 'you'll rise up as death knight'), will make me feel weak tbh... I'm a guy who kinda likes to be the winner, if I work hard to do a long questline, just to see myself going down, just won't feel right...
