WoW Moviewatch: Ruler of the Bracelet Prologue

If you've never played Alliance-side, you may not get the joke, so I'll enlighten you. One of the male human /sillys goes like this:
So, I have this idea for a great movie. It's about two gnomes who find a bracelet of power, and they have to take it to the Burning Steppes and cast it into the Cauldron. They form the Brotherhood of the Bracelet. Along the way they're trailed by a murloc named Gottum, who's obsessed with the bracelet, and nine bracelet bogeymen. It could be a three-parter, called 'Ruler of the Bracelet'. The first part would be called "The Brotherhood of the Bracelet," followed by "A Couple of Towers," with a climactic ending called "Hey, the King's Back!"
And with that good of a lead-in, it was only a matter of time before someone tried to make their own Ruler of the Bracelet series. I look forward to seeing the rest!

Man, that was just bad! Definitely need someone else doing the voiceover work. I couldn't stand watching it.

Made on a private server. The murloc costume looks more hand-made, and a lot of the camera shots were from above, in a map viewer most likely, most evident in the shot of Stormwind Trade District. Also, no one can solo Ragnaros, not even at 70.

I thought when you did the 'And now the new..' you had given us the Epitomy of crap, but this si right up there too. Why Miss Harper, why do you keep showing us crap machima, this is just terrible. Please don't link us to the next prologues! it;s not even funny, i could not watch all the way through! >.

Yes, I love you guys, too. (Seriously, Libri, you follow all of the Moviewatches I post and keep notes of the bad ones?)
If you know of more interesting machinima, you are most welcome to submit it to us, and it will land on Moviewatch, too. Is this a top-notch machinima? Not necessarily, as many commenters have pointed out, the voice-over could use some work. But the machinima itself is nicely put together and the concept (in my opinion) is funny. I think it was a worthwhile watch, all in all. We do try to highlight new machinima and machinima-makers ever day -- and not all of them are going to be Illegal Danish. So, I hear you typing this right now, shouldn't we not post anything unless we have something as good as Illegal Danish?
I'm going to argue no. There's lots of stuff out there that people have put together with good ideas, a great sense of humor, and the best intention. But it takes months of work to make something of the scope and quality of Illegal Danish. We might have four Moviewatches a year if we cut it down to that, and I think by doing so we'd miss a lot of fun stuff by amateur machinima-makers and up-and-coming machinima-makers.

Elizabeth, please stop comparing everything to Illegal Danish. That is certainly not the end all, be all of wow machinima.
