WotLK talent speculation: Is it ever too early?

Snuffles of Whisperwind server has used a web-based talent tree generator to speculate on WotLK druid talents. He proposes all sorts of class balance breaking goodness. A druid using these talents could probably solo Illidan. While AFK.
Digging more into this talent tree generator, I found people have built all sorts of ideal talent trees. But the most interesting ones are what people would like to see for the Wrath of Lich King Hero Class, Death Knights. Fantasy talent trees range from the overpacked to the well thought out to the one in Korean I wish I could translate.
What kind of talents would you like to see in the expansion for your class or the new Death Knight hero class?

The "Korean" one is actually Chinese. And although it's said to be a death knight talent tree, it's really built for Pandaria, the Brewmaster, with all the talents are related to a legendary martial art called "Zui Quan" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zui_Quan).

Yes, it is too early. Please shut up about the Death Knight. We're not going to see the expansion until NEXT YEAR. Another couple months of non-stop speculation and website padding about the Death Knight will mean that by the time the expansion does finally come out, everyone will be so completely sick of hearing about it, nobody will want to make one. Yes, they sound cool. Yes, more than likely everybody will make one. No, we don't need to have hourly updates about what might or might not be involved with them.

I don't like the way Blizz is headed with the way Talents and Hero classes will work.
I think that Hero classes should work like this:
At level 70 you get a quest from your class trainer that upgrades you to your hero class. After finishing the quest you are no longer your original class, but your new hero class.
Instead of having 71 points, you would have two different talent trees A Class Tree (61 Points) and a Hero Tree (10 points, Goes higher with other expansions). So from 71-80 you are upgrading your Hero, instead of your class. Otherwise, You could have 71 points which would be way over powered as stated above.
There is also no way that Death Knight is the only Hero class, They only released that information as a publicity stunt since it has been the most frequently requested class. Each class will get there own Hero Class. (EX. Shaman - Rune Master/Far Seer)

I would like to see Holy Shock removed from the Paladin Holy Tree and make it an ability for all Paladins. As a Paladin tank, I don't always want to run into mobs or pull 3 at a time. I single pull with EZ-Thro Dynamite atm, when I can't mana tap.

Has anyone else noticed how odd it is that if your death knight starts at lvl 60 it ends up going to another planet immediatly, or even starting there. Thats not really.. sticking to the lore is it? lol

I agree, let's find a different topic for a couple weeks. Nothing new has come out over the last week about the expansion...
The horse is dead, let it be for a couple weeks. Its all useless speculation at this point.
There are plenty of other topics to be covering.

@Zuty
Sorry man, but you are dead wrong. Each class won't and shouldn't have their own Hero Class. There will be only ONE Hero Class in WoftLK, so get used to it. Also, changing your character into a Hero Class is about as dumb as you posting on this site.

Man, I love how people always feel the need to tell other people what to talk about. siorai and Rich, I'm looking right at you, here. Believe it or not, some of us are interested in the expansion and like to talk about it, speculate about it, etc.

Here's my attempt so far, with Frost done, Blood half-done, and Unholy still to come:
http://talents.utimer.ppvh.eu/?p=vt&i=32572&link=yes
Put in Reanimate for Unholy already because quite frankly it would just be to badass.
siorai Aug 14th 2007 12:15PM
Wulfhere, looking right back at you. *waves*
Talking about real information is great. I'd love to see articles on real, factual, information. Padding this website with blind speculation is pathetic. But hey, I guess it's what all media does so it's par for the course.
Believe me, I'm all for the expansion. I'm hyped to see what it will bring to the game. The Hero class sounds like a great idea. I'll be right there when there's an actual discussion about what it actually is. Until then all this talk about a class that doesn't exist and an expansion that is months and months away is just annoying. Let's get back to some real news about what's actually in the game.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'd hate to see Blizzard add another tier of talents to the current talent trees.
Right now, the depth of the current talent trees strongly encourages people to spec deep into one tree, and select a few weaker talents at the top of one or both of the other trees to round out their character.
Their are two problems with that, that I can think of:
1) Characters lose their versatility.
Your feral druid can no longer heal as well, relatively; your fury warrior can't tank worth a darn, your holy priest can't farm gold or mats, even in the appropriate gear. To perform another role requires a respec. It's not totally this way right now, but the gap between similarly geared prot and fury warriors, for instance is greater now than it was at 60, and deeper talent trees means the gap gets even bigger at 80.
2. Characters lose their individuality.
Deep trees with the "must-have" talents at the bottom mean that most people spec as deeply into their chosen tree as possible.
This means the only differences in abilities between, say, two Prot paladins, are which "extra" talents they take in Ret or Holy.. At 60, nearly 40% of our talent points were "extras" that we could use to distinguish our character from other characters with the same talents. At 70, that number's just over 30%, and at 80, it's below 20%. Characters become more and more alike.
3. It promotes developer laziness.
Not every talent tree in the game is good as it stands; Shammies, priests, and pallies, for instance, all have legitimate complaints and need some (pally, priest) or all(shammies) of their trees tweaked. I'd rather see Blizzard devote the effort to perfecting existing trees than add a whole load of new (buggy, imbalanced) talents to them. But you KNOW that if new talents are in the works, balancing the old ones is no longer a priority.

Warrior Fury Tree: 2nd 41 Point Talent:
0/5 Wrathful Strikes:
When in Bezerker Stance, Heroic Strike causes a negative total of threat. Every hit of Heroic Strike reduces your threat by 1/2/3/4/5%.

0/2 Raging Storm
Your whirlwind ability increases your damage caused by your next 1/2 special attack(s) by 25%. Lasts 3 seconds.
2nd 46 point talent:
0/5 Slaughterer
Every successful hit increases your attack speed by .2/.4/.6/.8/1%. Upon missing, you lose this buff.
51 point Talent:
0/1 Uncontrollable Rage
100 Rage
Increases attack power by 30% for 10 seconds.
Shaman Enhancement Tree: 2nd 41pt Talent: Heavy Strikes
0/5
Increases weapon damage by 10/20/30/40/50.
1st 46pt Talent: Improved Shamanistic Rage:

Here is what I feel should be the 51pt talents for Warlocks.
Destruction:
Fiery Wrath
-There a 90% chance every 3 seconds of a flaming skull hitting the Warlock's target for 5012-8272 damage.
Demonology
Demonic Rage
-Each time the Warlock takes damage, his minion's damage, health and armor increase by 100% and reduces attack cooldown's by half for the duration of combat.
Affliction
Soul Corruption
Each time the Warlock takes damage, the source of the damage is inflicted with a crippling corruption of the soul. This can stack up to 10 times and inflicts 1000k damage per tick and last for 15 seconds. Can only be removed by the Priests 91pt talent "Cleanse Everything"
That should fix the pesky problem of Warlocks dying... :D

If it were up to me that "Improved Rebirth" talent for resto druids would have 5 ranks and would be the following:
Reduces the cooldown on your Rebirth ability by 6/12/18/24/30 minutes.
No cooldown rez!
Suricate Aug 14th 2007 6:00PM
@Omnimax
We aren't loosing talent points, we're getting more 10 talent points and more talent tiers, so for example a retribution paladin can still get to use 15 or 10 points in Holy and still have the last tier talent of the retribution tree

I only have one hope.....
I hope that blizz comes up with seals that are worth a damn to holy pallies.
Right now, only prot and ret pallies actually like to keep up a seal. Holy pallies only bring up light or wisdom to judge it, but there is no reason to keep one up.
I'd like to
1.) See seals that have an affect on heals. Maybe a seal that gives my heal a small HoT, Buff, or AoE effect. This would FINALLY make pally healing more complex rather than a 2 button affair.
2.) When using said seals, I think some should be used to judge ALLIES. That's right....allies. Maybe one of the above seals could give a caster a 10 second crit up...or haste rating....or armor bonus. The potential is limitless and REALLY would add to pally deversity and utility without overpowering them (since they would have to stop healing and use extra to perform any of this).
Just my $.02

I have heard some recent rumors regarding a new spell Blizzard is working on regarding mages who reach level 68. The new spell is rumored to be like Molten Armor but is reffered as Tesla Armor. Supposedly the effects of this is currently as follows "When you deal critical spell damage your casting speed increases 10-15% for 8 seconds. When you are dealt critical damage the dealer of that damage is dealt between 1-x damage where X is your arcane spell damage."
