@2 Your discriminating beliefs against casual players is garbage. When I get compliments at the end of a 5 man stating someone could DPS faster and harder with me tanking than our guild's raid tank (both druids) I think that pretty much blows your statement out of the water.Skill in a game has nothing to do with either raiding or time commitment. Robin found that out with last week's article and that revelation is the only reason this article exists :PAnd now to Robin:As a skilled casual myself, I don't go to BGs like you say and I don't bother with guild raids. Even the successful ones. I just don't have the time to raid AT ALL. You're getting closer to understanding the skilled casual players, but you have to drop the generalizations! There are good, crappy, timely, lazy, funny, dull, nice, and mean people in both casual and raiding categories. Everything you can say about a raider I could find a casual that fits the bill, but just doesn't have the time or desire to raid. And as a defense to PUGs: Sure, the majority of WoW players that would join a PUG are not as good at the game, but there is a good amount of people that are. I've been in PUGs with crappy group makeup that zoom through instances without talking with no strategy or loot problems at all. You can't just lump all PUG players in one 'bad' group, just like you can't lump all casuals in that group.
