Ever think about switching sides? I can assure you that you're not the only one -- the entertaining folks at Crafting Worlds even have a stylish video campaign encouraging you to give up your pretty Alliance characters for Horde alternatives. And sometimes a little change is good, don't you think?

Indeed you did, and it wasn't funny then either. Tristan Pope's great at ripping off other people's ideas and taking old, rotten forum jokes and memes then chain-emoting them in model viewer. But then, anyone could do that. His movies are immature and low-brown imho.

#3 is a hater that's all...
This is a lesser known (i.e. not as cool) video in the same series that gave us "FROSTSHOCK FROSTSHOCK FROSTSHOCK". I for one would be missing a few moments of joy if these vids were never made.

I believe this was his second video entitled "Switcher" his first one was a lot funnier.
First one was Paladin -> Shaman and is the one where "FROST SHOCK! FROST SHOCK! FROST SHOCK!" is said.

@6 Yeah that is proof these videos are ancient. The paladin switching video was made back when frostshock was like... good.
Might want to add to the post saying, "Here's an oldie but goodie."

@5 If you mean I dislike Tristan's attitude, his movies and his way of making them then yeah, sure. Myself and Tristan have butted heads on several occassions. One of his first movies was nothing more than soft-core porn. He's one of those guys that made it big not due to his actual talent, but his silliness. It's dumb machinima, that simple.

18 months called, seems they want their video back.
This is the second Switcher video was done the first one was switching from a paladin to Shaman "Frostshock".

@9 Yeah, because I've never released any popular movies or podcasts at all.
What have I to be jealous of exactly? Sounds like some research on your part is needed. Anyone can chain-emote in Modelviewer, it's a cheap way of doing machinima and it's spawned so many bad-movies as a result. He's got a lot to answer for.

Up next the guild Pals for life has some hilarious moments when their holy pally comes back from afk, the vent recording really makes it worthwhile.
TB hate on (and proably justly so) but the "FROST SHOCK!!!" meme was entertaining give the guy that much.
Side note, there is a Horde escort quests in Nag where quest mob uses the meme.

@13 - And were they both popular and original? Yup. I understand that my wrath is so frightening to you that you have to post under an 'anonymous' tag but it's ok, I won't bite.
I don't pretend to be a machinimator, it's not my thing, but the fact that I have 3 very popular videos out there (2 of which are machinima, one of which is a lecture and presentation), pretty much debunks the theory that I would be jealous of Mr Pope about anything. I don't like his work, I've explained why, and nothing is going to convince me otherwise, live with the fact that some people have different opinions, rather than resorting to ridiculous ad hom attacks.

Vistol is correct, the movies were created to make a point. And boy did they stir up a sh*tstorm and a half on the EU forums as a result. They served their purpose and they did so well, they raised awareness and entertained at the same time. I honestly couldn't be happier with how they turned out, although that 1 year forum ban as a result wasn't exactly welcome ;)
Anyway, this is about Switcher, not Chronicles.

Seriously, no one actually cares if you have seen this before, not even the people who post it. I've seen it before but for some reason I didn't feel the need to go 'ooh ooh..I've seen this years ago, I'm much more knowledgeable about everything wow related than the paid bloggers on this site'.
