Around Azeroth: A Terokkar monument
Reader Sulkar of Chaotic Precision on Frostmane sends in this interesting shot taken on an island to the south of Terokkar proper. On the island are level 70 plainstriders and this interesting statue, with no inscription. Though I don't play a Druid of high enough level to know for certain, I believe this unusual statue is part of the Druid epic flight form quest line.

I play a druid who has done all but her last step of the epic flying form quest so I can confirm that is part of the quest line. There are 3 of those statues in the area if you feel like hunting for them.

Looks to me like the statues in Curator's hall in Karazhan. I'd be very interested to know why there is a statue related to Medivh in Outlands. I think I will go look it up now and see what I can dig up...

This is the last in a 3-part "statue killing" line in the Druid Epic FF quest. Each statue concentrates on a different talent tree in the Druids arsenal.
This specific one is the Balance totem. The guy you fight has a 300% Nature Dmg weakness. This was the most fun for me, because as a Balance druid I was critting this guy for 12,000. Yup, thats 5 digits :D

There is no relationship to Curator. It is part of the druid quest for their epic flight form. There are two more statues around Terokkar.
Take a minute to read the questline, it's amazingly well thought out, and very creative.

I noticed the same statues in the Curator room as another person here mentioned. That seems odd.

Correction to #3 above.... the guy has Arcane weakness, not Nature weakness. I got a Starfire crit on him for 18,000. (yes, Eighteen Thousand).

Ahhh.. druid quest line. That explains the 2 dead tauren that I saw below the one just north of Sketties while fishing for crawdad.

No, really, he has a nature weakness. Maybe he has arcane weakness that I was unaware of ALSO, but I guarantee there is nature. Want to know why?

Maybe he's weak to all druid casts in general. The other two fights were obviously designed for druid bear form and cat form (and extremely easy if you take the hints). As a feral druid myself, this fight was more difficult than the others, since he seems to be immune to physical damage, but my Wrath was still hitting for well over 4000. Crispy!

OK, he's vulnerable to Nature damage as well. Some posters on Wowhead said otherwise, but a screenshot proves you're right. :)
Sorry for the confusion.

Fights are designed around the tree core druid forms
1)a bear form fight (adds that deal 1 damage after demo roar)
2)a cat form fight. You gotta out dps him before the fight becomes unwinnable.
3)a caster form fight. You gotta dispel his poisons and curses while root kiting him.
Very fun quest line.
