WoW Moviewatch: 10 Paladins clear Karazhan (almost!)

We've profiled movies of a Paladin soloing Blackrock Depths. We've even seen one solo Blood Furnace. Now, ten of them have banded together to tackle Karazhan. And they manage to clear it all the way until the last two bosses, Nightbane and Netherspite. Not bad for a class that constantly beats up on itself for being gimped.
The video is 26 minutes long, but enjoyable. The first part is RP related to the quest and the fights are at double speed. The music choice is very good IMHO and the humorous moments really help move it along. The shot of all 10 Blood Elf paladins dancing naked on the table was definitely a highlight. These are 10 players definitely enjoying themselves. Check it out.

Imo, Paladins aren't overpowered. They're hybrid. I bet 10 druids could do the same trick...

I've always wanted to do something like make a group of all Paladins and smash some instance. Nice to see it's doable, though I'm sure Druids could do it better since ferals are as good or better tanks than warriors, healing druids have that mana-saving tree, and druids can also do good DPS with their leet magical skills.

What is that little rectangle by the party list. It looks like its so sort of addon that has spell cast lists for diffrent roles. I see him pressing certain squares inside the rectangle.

The all-druid guild Druids of the Beast once organized an all-druid raid of Karazahn. The tanking/healing/dps were fine, but there were some other problems that made this much harder for the druids then it was for the paladins:
- No CC on Moroes, which meant that all the adds had to be tanked and killed. Also, no bubbles for Garrote, so by the end of the fight everyone had it on.
- No dispelling on Maiden for Holy Fire, so very heavy DOT damage to the entire raid.
- No interrupts/spell stealing on R&J (the paladins had the same problem).
- No reliable AOE on Illhoof, which quickly made the imps unmanageable.
- Lack of fear immunity for the tank made Nightbane impossible, similar to the paladins.
So yes, it's much easier to do things as 10 paladins then as 10 druids. Paladins are overpowered. Pause for shock.
I will tell you, though - stealth running karazahn is THE BEST.
