You haven't seen the last of The Venture Trading Co.
We've all had our runs in with this mercenary group. Illegally mining in Mulgore. Secretly running the economy of Stranglethorn Vale. Infiltrating the Exodar. Just about every player remembers tangling with a member of this group, but not much has been seen of them lately.CM Drysc let us know that though the Venture Trading Company has met hard times, we may be seeing them again in the future. I'm glad to hear Blizzard isn't letting this evil corporation fall away. They are part of my early Warcraft experience and I would like to see what they are up to next.
Is there any group from pre-TBC that you would like to see make a comeback in a patch or expansion?

The Scarlet Crusade
I'm sure with dealing up in scarlet monetary and WPL/EPL they will have a secret contingent to set up a power base (maybe even have a frigal alliance with either Venture Trading Company or the Bloodsails off the coast in afleet of ships) / spy and deal with the events in northend between the litch king and the horde / alliance

The Argent Dawn!
I don't know what I like them so much, but I miss them.

The Darkhoof clan! They're the only "Bad" Taurens and, hey, let's kill some Taurens!

I was shocked they wasnt taking a more active role around the darkporal or ateast around hellfire I was half expecting to see them running suppy lines / sending in soem troops to help maintain the battle at the darkportal

Darkhoof? Don't you mean Grimtotem?

Maybe Blizz will copy what they did in Mulgore, and have the Venture Trading Company in Borean Tundra, chopping down trees, making the Eskimo Tuskarr, and the Native American Buffalomen Taunka angry.
Yeah, Bloodsail Buccaneers need some love. It's already almost a given that the Argent Dawn will head north, since Northrend's full of Undead, and Tirion Fordring is slated to be heading North too. But Bloodsail Buccaneers? Give us more. Maybe they'd be more fitting for a future Ocean Expansion, but we need some reasons to continue on their rep road past Friendly.

I agree with the Defias Brotherhood thing...despite the fact that VC is the supposed leader...and is one of the first bosses any Alliance person kills.

Scarlet Crusade already sent up a force to Northrend.. some of the statues in Herod's room are dedicated to those ppl. Maybe we'll see the remnants of that original force in the expansion.

They need the Venture Corp because of Undermine! The Island west of STV should be the island with Undermine.
We need the South Sea patch!

Id like to see the Argent Dawn come back.
But id like to see some new factions even more. Maybe some friendly blue dragons or maybe even side with the Nerubians against the lich king on a few quests.

Ravenholdt for sure. If you've ever played a rogue, you've faced the disappointment of the dead-end Ravenholdt faction. What starts off as a really cool questline (complete with disarming traps and discovering hidden mansions high in the hills) becomes a rep grind that goes nowhere for no reason. My first char was a rogue in the (somewhat) early days of WoW. I was sure they would do more with Ravenholdt (back when major patches were frequent that often had dramatic effects on the game). But alas, more than 2 years later...nothing has been done with it. /beg Blizzard
