Wowhead screenshot contest
My long-time personal favorite WoW database site, Wowhead, is having another one of their contests: "The Lost Screenshots." This time, all you have to do is submit screenshots for NPCs, items, or other things that don't have one already. The winners will be the three people who submit approved screenshots for the greatest number of entries. Win what, you ask?

Apparently it's a big hit already. They normally get a few hundred shots a day. The first day they got 4500 screenshot submissions. Really nice. Good idea to help fill out their database.

I can't do this contest if I'm in UK can I?

Let me guess: All contestants must be US citizens because we're too lazy to ship elsewhere?

Canada too. But the limitation is only to anywhere Amazon ships. Presumably because they'll send the prize to you via amazon.
Doubt anyone can join up now and win. Some people are pretty fierced, with hundreds, even thousands submitted already.

Lemme rephrase that. It can be hard to win, but it's by no means not impossible. We have until 9/11 to do it. Me? I'm hoping for second place, since I need a video card more than a monitor, but that still means I gotta try. Try looking for NPCs in more obscure zones. Always need more screenshots of NPCs in level 60 raid dungeons in Azeroth, and pretty much every other dungeon in the game! And most zones!
Yay WoWHead!

Its actually more complicated then shipping, guys. Canada has different laws governing contests then the US does (and Quebec's rules are different then English Canada's again).
It costs money for a small American outfit to learn what those laws are in order to open it up to Canada. Its the same for any other country in the world.
Yes it sucks, but its not a matter of not wanting to pay UPS.
