I don't know how well things are going for the TCG as of right now... but I think they're going to really run the game into the ground if they keep the pace up of the expansions and addons and raid decks to something new to have to shell out a few hundred bucks on every 3-4 months. Then again, that's what WotC does with MTG and it's been pretty successful I suppose. At the same time, the fact that WotC wanted to do that is what drove me away from the game as well... I guess the only difference here, is they're also selling to MMO gamers who couldn't care less about the cards and just want the loot scratchers. I know it's worked for me, I've bought a few boxes and haven't played a single minute of the TCG...
