It was so nice to be their king...then I began slaughtering them because I needed an enchant they dropped. Kinda felt bad, but then again, they're just ogres.

This is what happens at the end of the initial 5-man Gronn quests at Blade's Edge, when you become King/Queen of the Ogres and that opens up the Ogri'la quests.
The coolest part about that quest line for me is that during it, the Bladespire ogres that you were killing before when you first rode up into the mountains become neutral to you and you can now ride along the valleys with no problem.

I remember that scene well. Please bear a thought for the poor lowly L66ish guys passing through that valley when you complete that quest. I was seriously shocked when 200 ogres spawned on me and turned around and ganked me ....

If you get to this point, be sure to talk to the ogres, their responses are funny.

Lirya, Queen of the Ogres, does not approve of this talk of AOE fear bombing. The ogres have been freed from the oppression of the sons of Gruul, and now will return to their more shamanistic roots. (sound familiar?)
