Buy the packs and take the opportunity to play the game, seriously, you won't regret it. WoW Radio offers live tutorials as well as some learn-to-play podcasts on the matter. Just pop by our IRC and we'll set you up with the virtual client so you can try it out.Though I have to say I would not recommend starting by buying Fires of Outland boosters. They're a little more advanced than the base sets. Buy a Dark Portal or Heroes of Azeroth starter deck, better yet buy several, since they'll give you the basic cards you need to kick off as well as a few nice blues. Then start buying boosters. All 3 sets have some killer cards you don't want to miss out on anyway. And if you get a Tiger in the process, grats. Personally, I'll be riding it when I get mine.TB.
